This is why DJ was benched. It's not because Nash fell in love with offense over defense with LMA or Griffin...it's because they're better offensively and defensively than DJ, so it made no sense to play DJ in favor of them. And Claxton is the best C on the team, so he should get the majority of the C minutes anyway.

For a guy who was immediately collecting DNP-CDs the moment someone else came who’s of similar height and isn’t on a minutes restriction, it’s crazy to see the lack of effort from the very opening minutes of the game.

I think Green in general gets a lot of his bad defense hand-waved away and he's still somehow called a good defender. He's thoroughly average with a lot of low effort and low IQ plays.

I’ve routinely called out Green’s defense from the beginning of the season.

He can’t guard the post and can’t stay in front of his man. No wonder teams look for him on the defensive end. He’s a sieve.

Shamet and Joe was was lighting it up from 3 tonight. Fun to see. We did what we had to do here. Need to clean up on turnovers and be a little more physical. Hornets were trying to bully us
