The contract would be super trade-able during the season as long as he shows he's healthy and back to his old self and would probably net the team some good assets.
I'm sure he prefers something more long terms but the longer he remains a FA, the less likely he gets big money. Why not try to recoup your value in friendly environment in a winning situation?

Wanted to get paid.
Makes it more important to keep Blake, who is getting paid nearly 30 mill from the Pistons already.
Were also def losing Dinwiddie. Im hoping we can hold on to Bruce Brown.

I dont think green is a huge loss, or even a big loss. i agree he played well for us, but he is really replaceable and it prevents nash from using a 6'7" SF at center so often. We can stand to improve there, even on a minimum. Defensively he wasnt great. not to know him, he was as good as could be expected. Same with bruce brown, was better then advertized, but really replaceable.
Blake is the guy you cant just replace and he is back, which is huge for us

not if they wanted to use the MLE on someone else.

Miami has specifically built a team to face us. Physical players. We need to ensure that we obtain the 1st seed at all costs

How much would that add to the tax bill?
Why is it that I feel like we are the only ones being taxed? The Lakers are super top heavy yet they signed like 100 ppl tonight

If we can get Patty Mills, that will be worth the entire MLE.
