If we want to make it possible to win, bring in Snyder. Hope he be interested

Instead of trying to "manage" Kyrie, how about giving him more responsibility and authority and force him to hold himself accountable for wins-and-losses?
If anyone was ever born to be the perfect "Ben Simmons 'horse-whisperer,'" it is Kyrie Irving.
It might be time for Joe Tsai to open his third eye.
What do the Nets have to lose by doing some "out-of-the-box" thinking?
Kyrie has stated publicly: "I don't really see us having a head coach," Irving said when appearing on Kevin Durant's new podcast The ETCs. "You know what I mean? KD could be a head coach. I could be a head coach."
Tsai and Marks should get out of the way and "let Kyrie cook" as player-coach. This approach might be the only way for this iteration of the Nets to actually succeed.
By empowering Kyrie to hold himself and the roster accountable, Nets fans might actually see a better product on the court.

I highly doubt that's happening. He played several hours after the fiasco and hasn't been suspended, let alone waived.
Regardless of what anyone thinks about the city's COVID ordinance and the organization's initial belief that everyone needed to be 100% available if they wanted to participate at all, the fact that Tsai allowed Kyrie back on the team last year should tell you something about Tsai and his "convictions".
If Udoka is hired, irrespective of whether anyone thinks his suspension is warranted, it will be another layer of evidence that proving that Tsai and the organization do not really care about negative PR and will do what they believe is necessary to maximize profits.
Good luck to him if he thinks he can maximize profits like this.

THIS IS BASKETBALL and Nets are entitled to choose WHOEVER THEY WANT as their next coach/GM, etc. Just because he had a fall out with Boston doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be a coach again or it has to do with ethics. Just remember, the people preaching ethics and morals at the top are the same people committing atrocities in other parts of the world. Stop taking your advice from these people.

Who are you talking about?
Actually, nevermind. Yall little kyrie stans have it on here. This franchise is a disaster, and this fanbase is an absolute disgrace with what you and the rest of your little Kyrie sycophants condone. Eat a bag of uncircumcised dicks.

Are you the same cat who supported the IDF murdering Gazan women and children back in 2014 when Prokhorov had a commemoration?! Where was the outrage then? GTFO!

If we can get Quinn as HC. Ime for Assistant. Trade for Turner and maybe OG or Dillon Brooks we would have our two way team.

Interesting thing about Udoka is that Celtics fans were ready to run him out of town through December of last year.
Then they went on that run. But not sure if that was before or after they made the trade which brought them Derek White and Horford back.
Their defensive scheme, to have Williams roam off a bad shooter to contest all shots in the paint, is credited with their success in the last half of the season and the playoffs.
But it didn't hurt that players performed a lot better in the second half, including the players from the midseason trades.

We do need a PG. Culture/ethics obviously doesn't matter in a Tsai run organization. If you're going to be the win at cost NBA bad boys, go all in.

The level of weirdness here has really gotten out of control.
Anyway, ignoring all the off court stuff, Udoka is a massive upgrade over Nash in a lot of ways.

Quinn Snyder would have been my top target, but I'm sure Ainge would have insisted on significant compensation (as if we didn't already overpay him for Royce). I don't love adding Ime's issues to this circus, but maybe it moves the media on from Kyrie's foolishness for a hot minute. He does have a pre-existing relationship with many of the players, including the stars, which helps.

Curious many think the Udoka deal is done. Wow. Idk how i feel on that, as I am not entirely educated on how it unfolded in Boston. I know he had an inappropriate relationship but what does that entail? did he forced himself onto someone against one's wishes? mutual relationship? taboo? etc...
Snyder was a long shot after i saw he's still under contract thus something of significance would had to be parted... knowing Ainge, f that guy lol

The owner funds genocide against muslims
The coach is a sexual pervert
The starting PG is an antisemite
Might as well add a sex offender to the dumpster fire
