Good win! We really need a Clax reliever. When he got into foul trouble, we played a small lineup. Sharpe is too soft & raw atm...

LOL. Its a back to back and 2/3 best players are out.

We lost this game with Nash 10/10 times.

Good win but offense went WAY too stagnant without KD.

If we can have this defensive effort, Kyrie would help a ton.

Sad he did this BS.

I had high hopes for Sharpe but hes clearly not ready.

Marks needs to sign a backup C.

They were also on a back to back and didn’t have their best player. KD was far and away the best player on the court between the two teams…we SHOULD have won.

Meh, we won plenty of these games under Nash, and we always chalked it up to winning in spite of him. Don’t see how this is any different.

Yuta did a nice job as our 5 when claxton was sitting with foul trouble.

Royce had a beautiful dime on that give and go from Yuta.

Cam did a nice job closing the game out. Hit some huge shots and FT's.

But we easily could have lost if a couple of those shots didn't go down.

We need more from Joe. He has only cracked 10 points once so far this season is averaging 7 PPG. We need double that from him.

Cam Thomas made some big shots, but the tunnel vision is concerning. Missed some wide open teammates in favor of taking a shot multiple times. That steal and foul in transition when he made 2 FTs to tie it up…he had a trailing KD who would have had an easy dunk if he just dumped it off. It worked out this time, but if he missed a FT, it instantly becomes a bad play. Could be an issue in the future.

One amazing player cannot win on his own.

The minutes KD sat is why the Hornets came back anyway.

The last 3 games without Nash we have looked far better.

Nash did well the first year with Dantoni and Udoka at his side. The last 2 years were awful.

The difference this game compared to previous Nets blunders is that the team looked prepared and had the right effort. Plays were actually ran and the ball moved well. Guys just couldn't make shots besides KD and Cam.

Lost between the Kyrie and Ben madness is that Joe Harris has been pretty disappointing this season. Hes a 3 point specialist who can't make wide open 3s and plays below average defense. For someone being paid nearly 20M and being this pedestrian is concerning.

Harris has been horrible.

He had a long time off so maybe thats why.

But we need him to be the elite shooter he is.

Joe, Ben and Seth look like and play like kaka. They going to need time to get in shape. We need to practice some patience here.

Did anyone else wonder why cam Thomas didn’t really play in the first several games of the season? Especially when they went through stretches of not being able to score.

Because Nash is an idiot thats why.

Cam has his flaws but hes is a good scorer. Something we need at times.

yea I was telling guys Sharpe is a 3 string D leaguer , we need a legit backup big men. We have too many thin , long skinny guys down low like KD and Clax, we're going to get beat up inside. If Ben wasn't such a softie it wouldn't be this big of a problem.

yea that's his one big flaw to his offensive game, but that is fixable. The kid can get buckets and he knows how to get to the free throw line. Kyrie is so great offensively but he doesn't get to the line enough, or he don't make the refs blow the whistle.

Cam is the only creator/shotmaker in the team aside from KD. The others are Kyrie & to a certain extent TJ.

However, he had to improve on his shot selection and avoid falling in love with his steo back fadeaway J. He needs to drive more, of which he did, which resulted to being awarded 10 FTs. His passing also needs to improve, as there are instances wherein he missed hitting on the open man.

Right now, Cam really needs to step big time. Since whenever KD is sitting down, nobody really generates the offense for us.

Wouldnt be surprised Nash put him in the dog house because of the summer league interview he had.

Can someone explain why Kess is not even on the team?

I feel like hes a good defender and shooter. We could def use him.
