Watching Amen Thompson the last three games has me dreaming that we might get a superstar in the draft.

I was at the game tonight what a game !! People started leaving when they were up 4 and Sengun went to the free throw line. Crazy game winner by Russell, Rockets threw the ball away. the refs were trying real hard to give the game to the Rockets with all those tacky fouls in the 4th it was obvious.

Winning does mess up the tank BUT we do have Rockets pick and it hurts them so that also helps us. It sucks that they decide to be a great team the year we have their pick smh but as long as they keep losing it'll help us. I'm hoping they give us a #20-24 pick or so.

The good news is that we seem to have a very good coach and the win hasn’t harmed our tank too much

We’re pretty much locked into the 5-6 slot at this point.

Which is why people should feel comfortable enjoying the occasional wins when they come. Charlotte has no chance at making up 5 wins on us, and it's highly unlikely that we make up 3 wins on Philly, 4 wins on San Antonio or 5 wins on Portland & Chicago. We just need to hope Toronto keeps up their recent strong play.

Can't just quit on the tank though. Need to stank 4 the tank until all 82 games are up...

Also I'm guessing nothing is happening with Cam Johnson given that he's playing today...

Good loss to end our win streak. Now that Kuzma is no longer on the Wizards I don’t mind watching them… lol

I don't understand the Raptors' direction. They are already committed to like $120mil in each of the next 3 seasons for Barnes, Quickley, Barrett and Poeltl. Adding Ingram to that for another $40mil puts them at the 1st apron, and their ceiling is a 30-win team. Plus, they have tons of wing prospects to develop, like Gradey, Wolters, Ogbaji and Mogbo. Why add to the logjam?

think reality has dawned on them that ingram is the best they can do in the next 2 offseasons in terms of player acquisition to augment what they have.

so their future rides on barnes continuing to improve, making good draft picks, and maximizing what they have.

i dont think it's going to work but i think their ceiling may be a bit higher than 40 wins as is, and it could go higher if they hit on a draft pick this year.

i think their plan is to get back to being a 4-6 team in the east (not hard) and then hope to strike on 1 finishing move a couple years down the road like they did with kawhi, hope to catch lightning in a bottle. basically gambling on being somewhat competitive over tanking.

This basically our plan. We will compete with you guys for that 5th worse record and hope for lotto luck. We have a good core of rookies to develop to go with our expensive staring 5. we'll figure that part out in a year or two.

Nets taking that 4th quarter against the Heat 31-9 is crazy.
