Any 1st rounder before 2019 would be HUGE, even if it's protected.

Very true. I would hope the Bucks new owners aren't that dumb lol. I think a couple of second round picks is fair enough.

If there's any indication of tampering and the Nets want to get Adam Silver involved, it may not even be up to the Bucks on deciding what pick to give. Maybe Silver forces the Bucks to forfeit the pick to the Nets? Who knows, with our luck, maybe nothing will happen.

I took from that tweet that we talked to him on Friday, AFTER owners of Nets gave Kidd permission to do so. Especially if this story broke from Carl on Thursday. I guess we'll have to wait and see. The Bucks are in a rebuild and need those 1st round picks. If the new owners of Milwaukee Bucks gave that pick up, it would be devastating to our future moving forward.

How is it tampering if Kidd got the ok from the Nets owner to talk with the Bucks? I think we'd have heard by now if there was any kind of tampering involved. The story broke from Carl on Thursday and Kidd talked with the Bucks on Friday.

It hasn't been stated or made clear if Kidd and Lasry talked prior to plan Kidd's "power grab" and the Nets giving Kidd permission to work a contract with them.

Kidd's knew damn well that he could pull that move because he had a fallback in place.

Even so, that is hard to prove. Nets gave the permission. I'm guessing Nets will get a few second round picks and everybody can move on.

1. According to recent reports, Kidd is not being considered for a role as President. He reached out to Milwaukee to express his interest in being the head coach and nothing more.

2. Really? Why does Brooklyn deserve compensation from Milwaukee when Milwaukee is helping to clean up Brooklyn's mess? Compensation really shouldn't be necessary in this case considering Kidd will be fired or paid to do nothing if Milwaukee doesn't go through with this. Milwaukee could simply buy their time by interviewing other candidates for a position that's currently filled anyways and just wait for Brooklyn to make their move. Brooklyn should be happy to get a 2nd round pick for a guy that they want to fire anyways.
