Was brutal thing to witness. I'd bring CP as an example and would say not to bury the guy yet, it's just his work ethic and habits.

He should've signed that contract with us and secure his retirement money. I'm not sure Harris will allow Morey to give him super max now. I mean he ain't even top 20 player just looking at the stats, eye test says it's a lot worse.

Embiid just threw harden under the bus lol. Harden could've been the 3rd option in Brooklyn but now he got the attention of the being a 2nd option and failed miserably.

I think long term it was a great trade. Imagine having to pay Harden $260 million over the next 5 years. If Simmons doesn't live up to the hype his contract is far more manageable.

I hope Marks is paying attention to these playoffs. A lot of teams are selling out to stop superstars. They're not respecting average shooters. They're not respecting guys who can't score. And it doesn't matter how good your star is - your offense needs to be creative and keep these teams off balance.

The Sixers have some solid shooters on their team. Harden, Embiid, Maxey, Tobias, Green, Niang. Miami was still straight up triple teaming Embiid + Harden.

If we're serious about winning a chip, we need shooters everywhere. Miami only plays 2 guys who can't shoot 3s - Jimmy and Bam who are great from midrange. Milwaukee only plays Giannis. Boston only plays Robert Williams. If Ben is going to be a core player for us, we need to triple down on shooting. We need to find a starting level center who can shoot. That needs to be priority 1 this offseason.

Also helps if you have a direction of the offense or some installment in which the 5 players on the court play to in multiple and continuous possessions. no one in Miami, Boston, Milwaukee, Dallas, PHX, GS or Memphis play stand and watch offense..... :banghead:
