Some of them are actually cool, just like in everything in life you have the good and the bad. Moo, and KG knew it was all in good fun, but guys I dont recommend doing it often. NetsForce is a prime example of what happens when you have too much fun, we are too few to get banned!

An update. Surprisingly the Knicks brass didn't take the news very well

Nets sources say Knicks and Cablevision owner James Dolan called Jay-Z to complain. Others in the Knicks hierarchy called the Nets and the NBA. The Nets did nothing wrong, according to the league.

do u think he ll keep Yi just for teh chinese market?

My feeling is...this team is going to try to create another 8-9 mil in cap space or to to do a sign and trade as part of a move to land two top tier free agents.

Options for contracts that go away....

Devin Harris

Or all of this....
Yi
Humphries
Plus one of CDR or the 27th pick

I think ideally, we would have landed Wall, and resolved the PG spot for many years to come making it easier to deal Harris for future picks...perhaps get a quality role guy making less cash in a package deal...move out someone else...like Humphries as well.

With Wall not there, the less desireable move...give up Yi becomes more in play. I do think Yi fits in with marketing plans more than Devin but, given a choice from a fan stand point? While I am not a huge Devin fan and I really like Yi...Devin derstroys Yi as a player. It makes it an easier decision for me to see him be shipped out for future picks.

(OR all of this...)

had to quote it myself...I have no problem saying you are on point most of the time w/ Nets basketball...
but this was a really good call almost a month ago...not saying others couldnt see it themselves, we have some very savy REALGMers on this board...I still cant believe Yi is gone, thankfully so...

But if lebron comes to Nets i would be so happy... I would miss the crazy party if brazil win again the world cup, but i don't care.

We have another cup in 4 years... lol

From Woj. LOL!!!!!!! Love the quote. SUMS IT ALL UP NIXIES!!!! its a good thing that thread was locked or I would be over there posting this...and that wouldnt be smart.

Knicks owner Jim Dolan called Jay-Z and complained massive Nets mural overlooking MSG was "intimidating his employees," Nets sources say.
