When you read about what they tried to do to Jimmy Butler (prior to signing his extension, they tried to strong arm him into taking less than market value or else they'd cut his minutes), it amazes me anyone who has serious game even signs with them. That's some shady **** right there

This is why the Nets building a reputation of treating players right will go a long way in a few seasons.

Deja vu, this time in a contract year. Sad face. Some team will still overpay him this summer.

That's what happens when you rely solely on your athleticism and don't add anything else to you game.

Rose is athletic but it takes a lot more than simply being athletic to be even half decent in the league.

His ability to attack the basket and pirouette in the air around the rim is elite.

If Rose could even out his game and become a better, more balanced 3pt shooter, he would be a valuable role player.

Rose's biggest issue isn't a lack of skill. It's his injury proneness and then his unwillingness to focus on expanding his game by incorporating more skill-based moves and less of those that rely upon elite athleticism. His jumpshot also looks like it takes a toll on his knees.

His wife and his children should be bothered, because a) she's white, they are half white, b) The reason why UCLA lost wasn't because of slow white kids, a good reason as to why UCLA lost is because Lonzo spent most of that game getting his ass whipped on national television, and c) having a racist father spout of nonsense like that can cost Lonzo serious money

if we owned our pick I would be the first one in here saying PASS on Lonzo Ball for either Fultz or Jackson in a heartbeat. You'd have to be crazy to draft that circus.

two things I cannot stand, racism and ignorance, doesn't matter if the person who saying it is black.

I hear you... buy no way id pass on Lonzo. He is probably going to be a better version of klay thompson. great all around game and despite his dads big mouth he seems like a good kid. plays hard and the right way.

It's hypocritical when a racist against whites marries a white girl. The team that drafts Lonzo has to deal with the father I'd pass too.

I'm like, that's not acceptable for him to say. Luckily or fortunately he's not an active player, agent nor an employee/er of any sports related community cause that would be horrendous for him and his affiliate.

It actually got me irk cause i heard this before in the NBA from nba players, it goes unscathed(back in those days) and it feels its the same today.

I would like to know what are the greater influences in sports critics have to say about this.

Some people are just trash that will bed another human being because their skin color/ethnicity is different because they get off on it, and yet will hate or have foul opinions about the ethnic group that person comes from.

I thought the guy was just a blowhard, but now I think he's a piece of garbage. He threw three kids under the bus because of their skin color, nevermind the fact that his son, who is biracial, was the one getting dominated.

Atlanta was down by 20 and came back to win on national TV against the Cavs and Durant came back and looked great.

Thunder and Rockets seem like the only 1st rd match up worth watching. everything else looks like a snooze.

after last season where there were more than a few blow outs in the playoffs, I'm not going to waste my time watching this garbage. These players get rolled in these games and dgaf, the overall product of the NBA is getting staler and staler with the dog mentality of some of these players man.

western conference finals, finals and maybe a can't miss 2nd rd match up will get my attention but not much else. I refuse to watch the Cavs play while that piece of **** is on their roster, I hope they lose in the 2nd rd.

I still can't believe OKC once had 3 guys who are now arguably the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best players in the league, and screwed it up. On the other hand, I'd love to get back to the old school NBA where just about every team had one or two faces of the franchise, rather than superteam formation.
