Hello Brooklyn wrote:Can these Boston fans get out of our thread?

I don't agree with saying all Celtics fans are racist and have said so many times. But Prok isn't changing his mind.

So what exactly do you want us to do about it?

Take your disputes with him elsewhere.

This is our space to talk about the Nets.

A ban would be nice or at least something to show that his behavior is not just being tolerated. He is ripping people for being complacent of racism yet the same thing happens here when people don't stand up to the bullying.

Hello Brooklyn wrote:I was legitimately upset after Game 3. But its just time to move on.

If there are other Nets fans feeling down, remember its just sports.

The Nets winning a Championship won't put money in your bank account or get you laid lol.

Right now I care as much about the Nets as KD/Kyrie do. Not much.

Not even planning on watching Game 4.

Will tune in next season when we get a new coach and some sensible roster construction.

Even then I think we are a 2nd round exit at best. Who knows if Kyrie even plays next year.

True words , there is something toxic in Nets locker room, KD always struck me as a person who cares but something changed recently, watching him play he seems like he doesn’t care ,there is no fight left in this team

Nash definitely lost locker room , there is no question about it but do i blame Nash like before for all bad things that happened ? No there is more to it , it’s partly KD/Kai share too ,maybe Marks as well

I rarely go to other teams boards but I just wanted to say that I’m a longtime KD fan and I’ve never seen him so discombobulated…at the end of the day, one team has to lose and one gets to move on. Last year it was you guys and I was rooting for y’all to beat the Bucks. This year, it might be the C’s turn to try and take them on in the semis. Good luck with your team and how everything plays out. At the end of the day, we are all just really Atlantic division aficionados

I felt this way after game 1 that’s when I knew we weren’t going to win this series. I’ve already emotionally prepared myself.

I said major free agent star. Kemba is not that lol clearly

Both he and Horford were when they first signed as was Hayward. People also forget Durant had his two finalists as Boston and Golden State the year he signed with the Warriors. Boston has no problem luring talent.

Boston didn’t sign KD. That’s my point. Not some overly glorified role players. They couldn’t re-sign Kyrie. They couldn’t “lure” Anthony Davis, Butler or anyone else significant.

Stop the cap. They are Utah of the East with a better culture. They get solid players. Not superstars. They can’t lure a shark to water or sign tits with a sharpie.

The Kyrie blame has disappeared which has simply exposed how terrible of a coach Steve Nash is.

The idea we fired Kenny, passed on Udoka for this dude is just extremely, extremely destroying this team internally. We’ve all seen it since last season but Harden helped cover that black hole of a brain that Nash is using.

It’s like when Giannis was under Jason Kidd or KD under Scott Brooks.

We gifted Boston our defensive coach. That’s inexcusable.

It’s not about that we lost , it’s more about that we just gave up after game 1 , There is 16 teams in playoffs, and we’re the only one which gave up

It’s the fashion we lost game 2 and 3 , a lot of this could be blamed on coaching stuff but not all

Lucky Clover wrote:Hilarious that people here think New York isn't racist either. You can cite plenty of racial and derogatory stories that have happened in New York City.

What's the excuse going to be for them? "Large population means a few bad apples"? Any large metro area can claim that too.

Also Boston is very much a world class city. There's a reason why Boston scored higher on the 2019 Mercer Quality of Life index along with San Francisco. Clueless people who don't know jack about actual city knowledge that let sports fandom get in the way of actual metrics. The Boston area is one of the world leaders in healthcare, technology and science.. you know the things that actually matter in the world and are driving the world today.

When the last time you've seen players openly say I have been racially aggravated by fans here in NYC?

Your own players say/said they came across racist stuff.

Now you and your trash racist ass fan base should just **** out here.

Could yall please keep the topic to f*cking basketball? That way the Celtics fans won't havd a reason to chime in and continue to derail our thread.

I'm literally contemplating just giving up on this franchise for good. We will never win a championship

Generalizing people because they’re fans of certain team it’s usually not the best idea

I’m sure there is lots of Boston Celtics fans who isn’t racist

As well that there is lots of Nets fans who isn’t cry babies, some people take this defeat hard , some less , some already tuned out ( me myself I usually tune out after Nets are eliminated and occasionally i watch the finals , only team i root against it’s the Knicks ) does this make me cry baby in your opinion? If yes so be it

Just a sad performance in game 3. Worse than I expected. KD looks completely shook. Regardless of what our coaching staff or Boston is doing, he's the last player I worried about in this series. He's turned into a complete negative every second he's on the floor. It's one thing to occasionally turn the ball over when you get doubled. Right now he's making the wrong decision every single time he touches the ball. Just straight up dribbling into help, passing to no one, getting stripped constantly. It's bizarre.

This organization needed a wake up call but this type of season can completely ruin a team. If KD decides to demand a trade because we wasted a year of his prime, we're back to rebuild mode. Kyrie is also a free agent this off-season.

Marks needs to get serious about hiring competent coaches, signing shooters that can defend, and holding our players to a higher standard throughout the year. Nash was absolutely terrible this year. Maybe the worst coaching I've ever seen. But the roster construction didn't do him any favors. The lack of urgency to fix the roster when it clearly wasn't working didn't help. Harden coming in out of shape didn't help. Kyrie's situation didn't help. Claxton not gaining a pound over the off-season and shooting worse from the line didn't help. This was a failure from top to bottom and things need to drastically change if we want to think of making a run.

The lack of spirit on this team is appalling BTW. The team came out down 3 at half time like they were prepping for a funeral.

I’m watching the Nuggets show some heart down 0-3, will we be the only team to get swept this year in round 1?

Return to Brooklyn Nets
