What more evidence do you need that he is a racist/white supremacist? Thats what he is.

In fact several studies have shown that Trump voters supported him because of racism and not economics.
https://www.thenation.com/article/economic-anxiety-didnt-make-people-vote-trump-racism-did/

As someone who worked on the election in 2016, racism was key appeal to Trump voters. I talked to several white voters who told me reasons they supported Trump that were directly related to these issues.

Or his behavior after the Charlottesville tragedy, refusing to condemn nazis, the fact that members of his staff are known white supremacists (Bannon, Miller) or legitimate Neo Nazis (Sebastian Gorka)...

So, to this dude, he has seen nothing that shows that Trump is a racist, but he is quick to call me and another person bigots for denouncing Trump's base....which is proven to be full of racists. Okay. I see we've got either a troll on our hands, or someone in serious denial.

It is mainly about people being tired of being told they are horrible because of their skin color (white) or their politics (conservative)

^this is also very telling. Who are the ones telling people that they are horrible because of their skin color or their politics? Trump's base, or the people who denounce the kind of rhetoric that Trump uses to make them flock to him?

1) I have not seen proof that he's a racist. So far to me, he's just an ignorant fool with a short attention span. But I don't deny it's possible he's a racist. But that's not why his policies have support. I don't give a crap about Trump. My issue is a out the normalization of prejudice and bigotry against conservatives.
2) I call your actions bigoted because the logic you are using is the textbook definition of bigotry and prejudice. You have not shown logic to state otherwise. Instead, you just try to rationalize why your prejudice is okay.
3) As to who is participates in divisive prejudicial rhetoric. That would be people like the KKK, who we all condemn,... and currently you, who I imagine is acting this way just because you caught up in this fad of hate and not because hate is a core value.

"Don't call me a bigot because of your own inferiority complex and self hatred is so bad that will try to normalize a base full of racist people" is equal to "Is not my fault that black people are mostly criminals."?

One is a statement of fact (Trump's base is full of racist people), the other (black people are mostly criminals) isn't. The fact that you would even equate my statement to something like that says a lot about your highly suspect logic and your piss poor attempt at playing this "You're the real bigot for speaking out and saying bad things about bigots and racists" nonsense.

You're basically pulling the old "Blacks are the real racists!" card that trolls love to use to deflect from the issue of the base being full of racist white people including Neo Nazis, Alt Righters, Neo Confederates, White Supremacists, etc. But yet I'm the evil one and being divisive for pointing that out...hilarious.

I also love how you ignore this:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/25/us/politics/trump-nascar-nfl-protests.html

just to continue to call me a "bigot" because I don't coddle, make nice with, or "see both sides" of a base that has dwindled down to racist trash supporting a racist ideologue who is "engaged in a culture war on behalf of his white, working-class base".

I didn't ignore your rationalizing. However, I see such an action as a politically strategic one based on that base being tired of being vilified and having their needs and concerns listened to because of the color of their skin.

So you see the President of the United States engaging in the divisive (and dangerous) action of engaging in a "culture war" on behalf of one segment of the population based on their skin color to be a sound political tactic, and not an act of overt and aggressive racism beneath the office of the POTUS.

Okay.

I didn't say it was a sound political tactic. It's evil. It's disgusting. I thought the same thing when Obama was doing it. Evil.

Obama was more PC about the way he presented himself though.

I see Obama with racial biases, but I don't think he is a proven racist.

And no matter... If someone supported Obama, that didn't mean they supported the racial biases. They might support him for other policies.

We have gone way off my initial point. It is not about the President. Hating the President is not an excuse to be bigoted.

I didn't say "reverse racism". I don't believe in such a thing. I follow logic. Bigotry is bigotry, no matter what form it follows. No matter the color, race, or creed of the person with the bigoted thoughts. Bigotry is a mindset that is disgusting. Period.

Your statement, "that was the if you claim to support a person that promotes racist views that have killed people, you are supporting those same views." is fundamentally flawed.

For one, I don't believe Trump is a proven racist. Ignorant and biased? Probably. A loud mouth? Definitely. Bigoted in some ways that are not necessarily tied to race? Probably. Some biases tied to race? Probably. He has the same type of faults many people, including you, have. People are bigoted by nature. Only logic can overcome this.

Do I think he's racist? No. Not yet at least. There's a difference between having bigoted/ignorant thoughts and being a racist.

Are there racists that support him? Yup. They're morons.

But the support for him generally isn't about him. It is mainly about people being tired of being told they are horrible because of their skin color (white) or their politics (conservative) and the media being complicit in advancing that narrative. They have had enough of the bullying and are happy to see someone push back.

I find his methods distasteful. But I see both sides playing a game in who could be less and less rational and they focus more on differences and vilification than agreements.

What is there to disavow? I'm not a Trump supporter. I'm just not on the bigot bandwagon. I find it disgusting.

However, I think that bigotry is a behavior that people can change once they embrace rational thought and logic. When they refuse to succumb to what the crowd says and instead judged each person on their own merits instead of jumping to conclusions based on who they support politically.

Bigotry is lazy shorthand so that we don't have to think.

Perhaps, but that begets the query of at what point is anything considered racist?

Is the tiki torch wielding moron waving their guns and the confederate flag racist for holding a symbol of racism? Is anyone participating in the enforcement of the criminal justice system that fails to realize the inextricable biases the broken windows policies racist because they work for a statistically quantifiably racist institution?

The problem with how you describe towing the line of semantics, is that ultimately nothing gets called out for being associated with a bias inextricably tied to race under your logic

Racism is action based on racial bigotry.

The problem isn't defining racism. The problem is in honestly recognizing it when there may be other valid explanations.

Perhaps it's because I believe in the American value of Innocent until proven guilty.

There are horrible racists out there.
There are also well-meaning, caring people with ignorant biases out there. No harm intended, but may be ignorant of cultural differences or may believe what they are shown in media. They can end up with bigoted thoughts because of this. Just like some here. I think most of you are well-meaning and desire to advance society positively. But that exists on the other side too. But both sides are so busy labeling each other that they don't realize the commonality.

  @ "well meaning" racists. So the people with "ignorant biases" aka "light racism" who cheer on ICE agents terrorizing Latinos (regardless if they are here legally or not) are "caring" people who are well meaning? The folks that put black players on "a list of n*ggers" are well meaning and intend no harm? The people who accost and harass Muslim women are "well meaning" who deserve a pass for their "ignorant biases"? lol lol you are seriously sympathetic to racism and racist people.

Okay dude. I see what kind of train you're on...i'm hopping off. Peace to you over there in your alternate reality. I hope you, as a person of color (or so you claim) never run across any of these fine people you're normalizing alone somewhere during your travels...I'd hate for you to find out how well meaning and caring they are.

Its perplexing to see people try to rationalize the support for an individual who they will call evil and disgusting in the very same breath, when the initial point of debate is whether or not the supporters, the ones loudly cheering and applauding as 45 called them to violently protest his opponents at rallies, the ones who have been incited to march with torches, even the silently complicit ones who aren't attending the marches but will still publicly claim to support this "evil" person after witnessing the hurt this person has brought upon people throughout the country while holding its highest position, are just as disgusting as the person they support.

You have a habit of mischaracterizing what I say in order to justify your hatred. You create false narratives.

This is a common tactic for people who cannot argue merits logically. You change the argument into seething that you can argue against even if it is different than what was said.

It's intellectually lazy and allows you to avoid the self-examination necessary in order to properly address points because it would make you realize that you share thought patterns and logic with the scumbags you like to pretend others support.

You find it perplexing because you choose not to be honest.

Many people support Trump for varying reasons. There are crazy militants, yes. But those people are the minority. Just like there were crazy militants who supported Obama.

Support for Obama does not mean you support crazy militants, does it?

Please judge individuals instead of prejuging whole groups. Your first inclination is going to be to try to justify your prejudice. Instead, take a step back and realize that you are against that as a matter of principle (I hope), and be a good example of logic over emotion by recognizing when you do it and putting a stop to it.

You gave me examples that could indicate that he may be. However, far too many times I've seen people who are just ignorant or have comments taken out of context. I will not definitively state that he is not racist in his heart. I don't know.

I don't know Trump personally. I only know what the media chooses to paint. And unfortunately, I know that our media often has an agenda.

I just know that I would have preferred a different President and I think Trump is probably a pretty sy human being in general.

But the whole point of my arguments aren't about Trump. They are about bigotry directed at people who are not leftists.

I think I'll leave it with this...

We should all judge others as individuals and not fall into the trap of assigning negative labels on entire swaths of people based on their political affiliation, color, etc...

We should also understand that tribalism is in our DNA, and having the inclination to group possible threats together is natural. But we are not animals. We are not cave people trying to stay alive with other tribes out to kill us. We are intelligent modern humans, and we can overcome our programming.

Don't be bigoted towards racists and bigots guys, it's not a nice thing to do. Some of them, like the ones who hate blacks and latinos, just don't know any better, but they mean well. They have kind hearts, it's just that their ignorant biases make them hate black people and call them n*ggers. Let's judge them all as individuals, because even though they think that all blacks are lazy criminals who get free stuff, and that every latino person here is an illegal who is taking their jobs, they deserve to be treated with the respect that they don't give out towards other people who aren't white. So the next time that a racist bigot tells a black person to "Go back to Africa", it's not necessarily because they're a bad person, but they just have ignorant biases.

I can't say for certain that Donald Trump is a racist, even though he was sued for discriminating against black people who wanted to rent from his properties, or went around for years claiming that Barack Obama is not an american simply because he is black. Donald Trump wanting, by his own admission according to the NY Times, to wage a culture war on behalf of white americans, isn't racist at all, but a shrewd political move. Him spreading the lie that blacks kill whites at a high rate wasn't racist at all. Him retweeting content from neo nazi twitter loons isn't anything to be alarmed at. Him engaging in nazi sympathizing on national television, or banning muslims...oh, that isn't evidence of him being a racist. I don't know why someone would think that he's a racist...

We should be sympathetic to a political base that hoots and hollers when Trump calls black men "sons of bitches", or cheers when they hear Trump calling latinos "bad hombres". Just because they support this man's behavior doesn't reflect on them as individuals in any way, or make them racists themselves. To believe so, is the same thought process that klansmen who want to kill and terrorize black people have. I know that's an incredible leap in logic, to compare calling Trump supporters racist to the mindset of people that want to engage in ethnic cleansing, but hey what can I say?

I'll leave it at this....we need to be better human beings. We need to be sympathetic to racists and bigots, otherwise you're just a bigot yourself, because I think that they really mean well and are good people at the end of the day, no matter what hateful ideology that they subscribe to.

Not jobs, not the economy, not healthcare, etc. But the fact that he appeals to their worst instincts. Everything that he does now is to solely to appeal to his base, he doesn't even hide it any more:

In private, the president and his top aides freely admit that he is engaged in a culture war on behalf of his white, working-class base, a New York billionaire waging war against “politically correct” coastal elites on behalf of his supporters in the South and in the Midwest. He believes the war was foisted upon him by former President Barack Obama and other Democrats — and he is determined to win, current and former aides said.

NY Times. September 25th, 2017. But you can go ahead, stick your head in the sand and pretend as if any of this is remotely normal, or get mad at me for pointing out what I see from Trump and his base.

The divisiveness isn't coming from the people who are disgusted by racists, its coming from the goddamn racists, but you're sitting here going to bat for them even though they'd sure as hell spit in your face and call you whatever slur that they would call you. Get real.

Also, to go back to something you said...I don't "fear" white people...that's a moronic assertion (like 99% of what you've said). I work with, am friends with, am family with people who are white. That's not the point of anything that I've said.

I don't however, tolerate racists. Period. You may think that people spouting off Nazi rhetoric or white nationalists deserve to have a voice or shouldn't be called to task over their ideology...well I don't, and history says that I shouldn't nor should any other civilized person.

Your fist sentence proves my point.
"Don't call me a bigot because of your own inferiority complex and self hatred is so bad that will try to normalize a base full of racist people."

That is the exact same logic that kkk members use. "Is not my fault that black people are mostly criminals."

Do you see how moronic that is? The type of rationalizing you are using is identical.

And then you try to justify it. No amount of justification matters when the assertion is logically flawed.

You are trying to hide behind "logic". But, your use of it is dishonest. You are twisting logic to sell your narrative. It's absurd to equate MrDollarBills to the KKK and dishonest to try to imply that they are. It's like saying a jaywalker is the same as a murderer because they both did something illegal and committed a "text book" crime. Technically it is true. But, any moron with any understanding of logic knows there is a difference in degree.

One of the things that terrifies me the most about the Alt-Right and their ilk is how their "smartening" up in their racism.

You have the youth racists telling each other to "hide their power" and basically not let "normies" know what their real views are and thus doing their utmost to blend into the crowd until its time to vote and stuff. They want their leaders and politicians who share their views to keep "dog whistling" and that the only people who would ping to that "crypto" are "leftists", but "normies" ignore them anyway so thats why they have to keep their racism on the down low a to not tip off the masses. You also have the youth telling their racist elders to STFU cuz being outright overtly racist is hurting the cause, who wants to listen or see stereotypical trailer trash dressed in overalls and listen to them rant. They specifically wanted protesters in Charlottesville to only be decent/good looking and fit and to come well dressed so as to present the absolute best image possible of their cause.

Also they dont want annoying KNOWN racists loud mouths like Richard Spencer to be their spokesperson/representative but someone like Peter Thiel.

This level of self awareness and cognizance of their movements weaknesses should be scaring the living hell out of people that they hate/target. This facade of "reasonableness" is exactly what they want people like Reflexx to see and thus make excuses saying how theyre "no big deal" or "not a threat".

KKK and openly racist **** are easy condemn and even easier to make fun of if theyre poor, uneducated, or considerved "uncool". Trump's victory is really a tipping point for alot of impressionable youth to think racism is "cool" again and that all the "haters" telling em to stop will instead embolden them like a parent telling their HS kid to not drink/smoke weed.

Just standing by and keeping quiet isnt gonna work anymore. Either we fight their ideals and hatred now as they just got their foothold, or we fight them later when their poison has taken root in more minds and allowed to fester. Worst case scenario in the future we get a brilliant, charismatic, earned-rich (IE actually pulled themselves up by the boostraps to billionaire unlike Trump who inherited his wealth), smooth political operator who's a fascist and thus has a ready and willing chunk of the population primed and ready to follow him into hell. Is this alarmist? Absolutely, but honestly, who wants to take the chance?

You do realize that you left out someone who participates in divisive prejudicial rhetoric?

That would be Trump the POS you have been defending for the last several pages while at the same time denouncing divisive prejudicial rhetoric.

By your logic, doesn't that make you a hypocrite?

What you've said isn't alarmist, it's the truth. What is being given a platform is dangerous. That's why there should be no hesitation to shame or confront the racist mentality. You cannot play nice with people who subscribe to "NatSoc" or any of this other stuff, they want to kill minorities and LGBTers. What you described is literally what you'll see on the /pol/ forum on 4chan, white supremacists, nazis etc discussing how they can get the "normies" (read: civilized, non racist white people) to see things their way and they realize by being full blown Nazis like Richard Spencer or the blood and soil loons from Charlottesville who actually killed someone they will never be able to draw people to their cause.

You cannot sit here and sympathize with racists, especially the Alt Right/Neo Nazi portion of Trump's racist base. They need to be shamed, mocked, and hammered back into their holes. These kids with frog avatars really think being a racist **** bag is COOL and FUN. It needs to be made not fun, like the idiots who got photographed with tiki torches in their hands who have now ruined their lives due to impulse and blind hatred. That's how this has to be handled...after Charlottesville a lot of the would be Neo Nazis are afraid of getting photographed and doxxed. Good. Stay in your basements and fap to hentai while the rest of the world moves on without you.

Looks like either you're not very well read on the topic or have turned the problem on its head. No one really cares whether Trump is a racist at heart, same for his supporters. You have gone off to psychology, criminology, pure math/logic, astronomy, prophecies, sophistry etc. but failed to realize that when Trump does racist things(he has done it and incited it), it unjustly, adversely and unnecessarily affects real lives of real people; and the people who voted for him and still support him are the accomplices/enablers.

Completely false. You have no idea what racism means.
