I didn't mind Knicks winning #1 because I like competition, but NY Rangers fans have been pissing me off with their draft talks in both nba/nhl, like they're owed anything so eff them.

This is off topic.. but for the Devs fans, you going with Hughes or Kakko?

Has there been any signs as to who Marks is looking at for #17? Not even worth it thinking about the Nuggets pick or the Knicks 2nd.

Too early in process and Nets keep things close to vest. We probably won't know until they make pick.

We seem to get more info on euro because of connecting dots with travel/visits, but Allen and Caris kind of came out of nowhere.

A lot of people have them at 1A and 1B and if that's the case, I think you have to take the center than the wing so it looks like Hughes is the pick.

If we can trade up and get into Hunter/Reddish territory, and Marks is high on them, I think they’re fits.

If we don’t move, PJ Washington, Hachimura, Kabengele, and Samanic are likely on the radar.

Yeah, there's almost no point of trying to figure out who the Nets are targeting. Just review everyone and pick the players you like. If Marks likes a player well enough, he'll probably get him (aside from a top 3 pick).

Hey, according to Shams, AD still doesn't wanna play there despite New Orleans winning the lottery. Maybe not during the lottery, but every month closer to the deadline, they'll be backed into a corner on what to do with him.

Knox, DSJ, Ntilikina, Robinson, #3, DAL 1st or Ball, Ingram, Hart, Kuzma, #4? The Lakers are the better package of prospects for New Orleans to build around Zion.

You might be correct, but it was more of me just saying those high picks are all on the table in an AD trade.

if you're AD and you know Kyrie and Kevin going to NY you rather go there than LA given Lebron's timeline

Hey, according to Shams, AD still doesn't wanna play there despite New Orleans winning the lottery. Maybe not during the lottery, but every month closer to the deadline, they'll be backed into a corner on what to do with him.

The Pels should be excited for several reasons.

Their main potential trade partners for AD (in LAL & NYK) received more assets to package in a trade for AD. I think this will also force Boston to up their ante (although I think they'll be hesitant in trading for AD before knowing whether Kyrie will definitely stay).

I still think NYK would have the worst trade package primarily because I don't believe Barrett has a very high ceiling, especially in today's game where PGs are expected to be great ball handlers AND shooters.

My take on RJ:
Spoiler:
RJ a big wing who can't shoot and doesn't really have the best handle. IMO, his best skill is his ability to drive into the paint, but even in college, he would often run recklessly into the paint and force a lot of bad shots. I'm sure he'll improve his finishing ability over the years but he has a long way to go. (I think he'd be best starting off his career focusing on defense, since he can be an average to an above average defender immediately. He can develop the rest of his skills over the next several years.)

If LAL is still willing to include all the young guys plus the #4 pick, I'd definitely take that deal over an NYK deal centered on Barrett. In fact, I'd take Ingram, Kuzma, #4 (and Hart, if they're willing to include him). This would give Zion another top lotto pick partner alongside Kuzma (a shooter), Hart (another shooter), and Ingram who seemed to be coming into his own a bit towards the end of the season. Unless you're super-high on Barrett and/or Mitchell Robinson, the Knicks package is way worse.

A Celtics offer centered on Tatum + Jaylen Brown is pretty good and still better than the Knicks IMO.

before winning the pick, I was Kakko all the way...

Hughes has turned me over though... guy is amazing at that age... perhaps we can't pass it up(and I REALLY REALLY wanted Kakko too)
