I dont think we need a stretch 4.... you dont need 4 shooters for great space. thats a myth.... you do need 3 shooters on the floor... it helps if ones a big but if you have 3 your golden. especially if one can shoot off screens/quick release/the dribble like russell can.

If Lin/Russ/Levert can all be 35% or better thats all the space we need especially in the motion offense.

Also, we have floor spacing bigs off the bench. Acy, Hamilton. we can always put in them if things halt a bit.

also... when you have finshing bigs like allen, its tough for teams to clog the paint... if you leave a tyson chandler/deandre jordan type you risk easy dunks. need to stay glued to 65+ FG% guys who dunk everything.

i see no issue with RHJ/Allen as long as levert can improve a bit from three

RHJ moves too well off the ball to leave ungaurded on the outside.

So far, I like Allen's freakish measurements and his good east-west agility. That's exactly what I was referring to. What made T.Chandler so great and Noel great at present is that they they can stay with the ballhandler for a seconds after the pick because they were/are agile enough to do so. They are also long enough to deny the entry/lob pass to the rolling big.

While I'm a bit concerned about Allen's weak base, I can definitely see the potential there. If he can build up so his lower body so he has a bit more vertical explosion and a stronger stance, he can be a big time NBA defender.

leg press. squats. core work.

Yessir...and some kettle bell action.

i also recommend calisthenics. hardcore deep dips 15-20x per set, plenty of pull ups as well. but i'm sure there's ex military on the staff so he's in good hands.

he should look forward to eating a **** load of awesome food after they tear his muscles to shreds. i envy him. nothing is better than eating a great meal after a hardcore workout

Brooklyn's big Jarret Allen

Great pick by Marks!!! Now the trade makes sense they have Mozgov to help groom Jarret who's a great shot blocker with the freakish long arms.
My bad Sean I should never have doubted you.

Man, if we got Otto Porter this offseason somehow, I'd be so souped. RHJ/Whitehead/Harris/TPE/LOL?

RHJ's got a midrange J as well.

Does Allen have one? (Camby did I think)

I'd love Dodson, Blossomgame, Dorsey, Mason in the second round.
