KP's numbers as a rookie are nearly identical to Brook's rookie year. But you can see that he's more assertive and competitive. Before he fouled out he welcomed the challenge of being the #1 guy in the 4th qtr vs the Celtics last night (Melo went out with an injury) and hit a huge step back 3. The guy is a stud and honestly the Nets are never going to gain any traction or fanbase in NYC because Porzingis is going to be a top 10 player and a winner. Lopez will never be any of that. He's complacent with losing, he is unreliable in big moments, and he's only worth a damn in 2 and a half quarters on average.

The Nets need a hometown hero to help juice up the fanbase like KP has done for the Knicks. That's why I'm still on board with bringing Stephenson.

It's crazy though... KP was written off the second he was drafted and Phil was BASHED by everyone... and now the guy is beloved by all New Yorkers. Talk about playing with a chip on your shoulder.

Knick fans wanted Winslow. Crazy how that worked, because they wanted to pass up one what could be a generational talent.

Cut bait and trade him.

i dont know if nba is ready for ferry to come back plus he will get unfair criticism for mentioning those comments about luol deng. i think colangelo is favorite even though is record is mixed with raptors and suns. i hope we interview as many candidates and take our time with this process!

In a nutshell, he was responsible for building the run and gun Suns team, and then he stunk it up in Toronto. To be fair though, he admitted that he was trying to tank when with Toronto to try and get Anthony Davis. But he has basically constructed Toronto's current core. The huge black mark on his resume IMO: he drafted Andrea Bargnani with the first overall pick.

Here is a list of his basketball moves:

Bryan Colangelo is still a decent GM in this league I think. He has surely made mistakes in his time in Toronto but he also did a lot of good. He compiled the core of Derozan, Valanciunas and Lowry. Brought in Casey to change the culture which he's done a decent job of.

He has experience in re-building teams from the ground up which would be beneficial to you guys.

Hey guys for the ones that don't know much about Bryan Colangelo (known on the Raps board as BC). He is decent at drafting (he chose Ross over Drummond only blunder to think of) if he hasn't traded those picks yet. He clings onto the players he had an extreme hard on to Bargnani the player he drafted so good luck with him if Bargs is still on your team. His team in Toronto was mediocre at best and most of the fans loved him at the start of his reign as he cleaned house but just got worse as the years went on (didn't trade Bosh when knowing he was going to leave). Would not recommend for any team, only the ones you hate and I don't hate you guys.

Yea that was years ago on the GB, it was about KD being a 7 footer. Trust me I was baffled so much that I told him I was going to sig it until someone said something more dumb.

i feel like im always the devils advocate but

kidd was coming off hitting his wife i doubt if that happens kidd ends up in NJ

Also kidd benefited from a healthy vanhorn, a recovered kmart and for the first time in his career kittles being consistently healthy

not to mention rookies richard jefferson and jason collins

Marbury never had that team around him so its not really fair to say kidd took the same team to the finals

He drafted DeRozan. DeRozan was just talking about being loyal. Just saying...
