He is a bit ahead of Whitehead in my book (and on my depth chart). I like Whitehead, but the PG position is so important offensively that his slight edge on defense doesn't make up for the offensive gap.

Dinwiddie seems to be polished on the offensive side, he can score and he stays aggressive which I like because he draw fouls and thats what we need . Whitehead is still raw offensively but Dinwiddie can handle the rock, I want to see Lin and Dinwiddie play some minutes together .

Kenny is using him exclusively as a PG. Dunno if he'll play SG when iHead's back.

Nice to have tons of size at the PG position, Lin/iHead/Diwidi, all can play multiple positions. (sorry Yogi)

He just needs to slow down and make good decisions/take good shots.

Now that he's here as a long term piece. I'm going to make this his official thread.

I like what I've seen from him. He's got a lot of work to do when it comes to playmaking but his defense is excellent. He's super long for a PG which is a good thing to have in order to build a defensive identity. He's 23. Let's hope he can continue to develop into a quality backup and return some positive vibes to the #8 jersey lol

He plays by feel too much. ADD sometimes, have some weirdly creative ideas.

More pt and film sessions with Kenny should help.

Honestly he looks more like a scorer than playmaker. We needed a playmaker since Lin is out.

yep. Nets will have to be patient with this guy. He has some interesting tools but I have also seen some plays where his decision making needs to improve. Also, where is the range that we saw in those d league highlights?

Yeah, this guy was a solid 3PT shooter in college. Barely takes or makes them now.

A pick and role ball handler who hasn't found his shot yet.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

last night was the closest that I've seen to him playing at the level of confidence that we saw in his d-league tapes. the jumper was falling and he shot it with confidence. far cry from some of the other nights where he looked like he was unsure of himself.

Dinwiddie leading the team in 3PT% (42%) by a healthy margin -- better than early season leader Hamilton, the poor man's "Korver" Harris, mid-season leader Lopez, and the supposed Euro 3pt hotshot Bogs. Spencer needs to let it fly! Well, I guess technically, Acy is the team leader in 3PT% but that's on minimal attempts.

Get over it lol...

I think Dinwiddie is fine. He plays within himself and doesn't do anything flashy.
