Being frustrated can throw off even the little things.

Also, if Bertans is going to hit everything from 30 feet, it's going to be a long night.

The quality of the league continues to improve. It seems like more and more teams either have a couple elite 3pt shooters (e.g. Duncan Robinson, Bertans) or a plethora of good off-ball shooters (e.g. ATL).

Good 3pt shooting is no longer a luxury, but a basic necessary skill for that teams must have if they want to compete.

I hope we can somehow add a quality 3&D wing by the deadline without giving up much. We can really benefit from additional athleticism, length, and defense.

(Now that Dinwiddie is out, we need to hope Kyrie doesn’t miss extended time this season. The drop off in shooting between him and Caris is massive.)

So, good news: KD and Kyrie are playing great, and we're getting enough from the likes of Harris and Prince and Allen to have put up 71 points despite some truly awful play from our bench.

Bad news: we gave up 70 points to a terrible Washington team.

IDK, I understand the frustration, because we feel like we could be so much better...but we didn't play anywhere close to our best ball, and we still dropped 71 points in a half. Like, the offensive firepower is ridiculous.

And we showed that we CAN be a good defensive team, we're just not playing smart out there.

I'll give Joe a pass on that. He lost his balance and stumbled into Westbrook.

Strong finish to the half, but we need to be much better. LeVert needs to get his ass in gear.

I think what killed our defense mainly was stupid fouls that got us in the bonus early, and they feasted at the line, Beal especially. Gave them a bunch of easy points.

But we also committed a ton of dumb touch fouls on Beal on the perimeter when they were already in the bonus, I remember like two plays off the top of my head, one where TLC tripped him, and another where Kyrie tripped him. And then the foul on Westbrook's 3 at the end of the half. That was like 6 easy points that we didn't need to give up.
