WTF.... I'm shook. I can't believe we landed THE BEARD!!

My heart hurts a bit since we lost the Fro and Caris but this is a trade that HAD to be done.

Now we're all in to win a chip with KD as our best player. KD-Kyrie-Harden is an insane trio.

I can't believe Marks took us from no picks nobody wants to play for us to now **** KD/Harden/Kyrie/Harris/Dinwiddie/etc

It is a lot of picks to give up but I'd rather give that up for MVP level player like Harden in his PRIME over the corpses of KG/Pierce/Jet.

WOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Pretty sure everyone here did. In the back of my mind, I wonder if luxury tax played a role there.

Can't be scared of the tax now, we're balls deep in it. It's win or bust.

Remember, Tyler Herro was worth more than our ENTIRE package?

 !!!!!!!!!!!!! ok this made me laugh, yo who said that again? we need to start clowning

I think it was Zach Lowe. I remember listening to his podcast when he said this and I was bewildered.

Sure, Tyler Herro is a good player. I could certainly listen to someone argue that he is better than Levert or Allen as individual players, but not as a package of all that the Nets could offer. He was drinking the recency bias Kool-Aid hard.

Herro is a good player but people were saying he was an all star and all of this crap...lets swap him with the teams that LeVert played on the last several years and see how he'd do.

Nic Claxton might not be ready for prime time.....but if he can keep the +/- close he will get playing time. It sounds like a tall order but it is worth a shot.

Alibaba's stock is up today so as long as Joe Tsai doesn't get done in like Jack Ma we should be fine being propped up by that sweet CCP approved cash.

All he has to do is play defense, rebound, and dunk.

in reality we did max our players values out and got a former mvp so we do have 3 top 10 players now, it just is a gamble with how we have chemistry issues, but id rather go for it now. allen and levert have major potential and it hurts to lose them but we keep joe harris and dinwiddie. the picks arent as relevant in my mind. we have a big 3

Knock on wood, the other good thing about this is that Harden is an iron man that plays huge minutes...we've wanted to handle KD and Kyrie with kid gloves, don't really need to do that with Harden.

Kyrie needs to buy into playing off ball for sure when he gets back.

BTW, we still have our tax payers MLE and can apply for another $5m for the DPE for Dinwiddie’s injury.

Yup, he'll definitely cash in from what it looks like. China alone will cover those taxes and more. You add the fact they'll demand superteam to annihilate 6's, Tsai definitely going to spend from now on.

We really didn't give up that much.

Levert, Allen, Prince and some picks for an MVP caliber player?

What are the chances any of those 4 picks end up being close to as good as Harden?

We also have money to sign guys if need be.

I think this easily puts us at the top of the East.

Kyrie
Brown
Harden
KD
Jordan

Either Jordan has to play better or we can just find a center to sign in FA. I think Green closes for us anyway. That would be the smarter move.

He and DJ need to work on free throws. The hackathons have to be coming, right?

^take a look at our roster from 2017 when Marks started.

This franchise has come a long way. This doesn't feel real.

100% win/win for me.

They win and it takes a title away from the LA teams.

They lose and it’s the most spectacular implosion ever.

Meanwhile the final nail gets put into the Rockets coffin.

This move is a haters paradise lol.

 web is filled with gold takes. We definitely going to be 24/7 talk subject.

Kyrie just lost every single piece of leverage that he had with this franchise. He is irrelevant now, this is KD's team. You think Durant didn't sign off on this?

The prick can sit home and do zoom meetings all he wants now. It won't be long before the Nets start to take his money. He can either buy in and be gone.

We've done it. We've assembled a team of the 3 most hated stars in basketball. General board is now so unreadable that it's readable again.
