Jeff Green and TLC will probably be our main wing defenders along with KD.

Adding Ariza to the mix should be enough assuming hes available.

Backup C is a concern. You would think Claxton would be the perfect fit for that role and Reggie Perry is looking great so far.

If neither of them than I think Dedmon or Mcgee could be easy pickups.

I just don't trust Jeff Green and TLC guarding those type of wing guys for more than 5 minutes. Even if u add in Ariza. We need someone better. I'm on the trade for Aaron Gordon train.

I'm pretty sure Dinwiddie going to get resigned simply because we can't trust Kyrie. Gordon ain't happening. It'll be mMLE type guy most likely.

I definitely trust Jeff Green. TLC is more of a question mark but I'm willing to give him a chance.

Also why would I trust Aaron Gordon defensively in a playoff series?

I don't know why u wouldn't. He's only proved he is a capable defender his whole career. Jeff Green is playing excellent but him guarding the top wing players of the league for 40 minutes I don't trust. And TLC isn't big enough to guard those guys for a whole game. We need someone athletic, strong and in their prime.

Team D is what matters and we good enough there. Team rebounds is what win games. Star padders like Drummond etc worth nothing. They get dumped all the time.

Take it with a grain of salt but we’re looking into a Kenneth Faried return. He was apart of the Team USA group with KD, Kyrie, Harden, DJ.

We need to rebound defensively, limit TOs and defend the three point line.

Faried is another garbage player...he's a hustle big that plays no defense, and given his age and the fact that he's been out of the league, he's washed up at the things he does well.

Drummond is good because he's a big body that won't get bullied in the paint. But I don't think he should get a ton of minutes if we do get him, like 10-15 minutes to help us against talented bigs down low, kind of like what Dwight Howard did for the Lakers.

Speaking of Dwight Howard, he would actually be perfect for us right now.

We have to set up our offense in order to play good defense. It'll also put a lot of pressure on our opponents to score. As they say " pressure bust pipes " let's see what other teams going to do. We will be dropping 150+ a night.

Sign me the F up! I always thought they had made a huge mistake by playing faried at PF and not C. In todays league he is a 5. similar to like montrez harrell. not the tallest guy but athletic, super high energy and hits the offensive glass

and another NJ guy

He didnt have an attitude problem. he was jerked around. there was clearly some disconnect between marks and kenny on that one cause marks said he brought him in to play not for salary reasons and kenny never played him. Dude busted his hump and saw no court, then asked out to go somewhere he could see the floor and marks did right by him

Would LOVE Aaron Gordon now. I wasn’t the hugest fan of his when people wanted him as a third star, at a high asset cost, etc.

But now he’d be the final piece.

Problem is, we don’t have much left to trade for him. Not a single pick, Dinwiddie is injured and a flight risk, Claxton is injured with questionable value and we traded the 19th pick for Shamet.

You would have needed Orlando to go completely into the tank by the deadline for them to entertain trading him to begin with. Now you not only need that, but a third team to love the idea of giving a mid teens to early 20’s first or a decent player on rookie scale and at worst an expiring for Spence and Orlando to love the idea of Claxton and Marks to be OK trading him.

The more realistic option is probably Terrence Ross and find a serviceable big such as McGee on the buyout market.

Just few names Lewis dropped there. I wish marks would give RHJ another shot here. Vet min and opportunity is all it takes to get our boy back.

Totally agree. he is tough , can rebound well and does the dirty work. People here have to realize, our team switches ALOT. Faried is a guy that can play the backup 5 and can switch out to the perimeter. He is not as much of a liability when being switched out on the perimeter like DJ is. Also he would defend guys like Vucevic alot better than DJ would. I'm 100% on board with this signing.

To be fair, after a decade of being a model citizen in the league, ATKINSON declared that Kenneth had an attitude problem. After we cut him, he dominated in Houston for a short spell. He even mentioned that we didn't use him effectively.

Manimal would be a nice wrinkle for this team, IF he had anything left in the tank. Undersized energy guys don't always age gracefully, but yeah, let's kick the tires.

Faried would be fine offensively but our issue is defense. We need to get bodies in here that can defend. Sign RHJ for wing defense and let's go from there

Faried and Harden had amazing connection in Houston. Nonetheless, Dedmond and signing Ariza( once he gets bought out) should be priorities .
