Defense has improved and offense has gone to hell. Go figure.

This team is allergic to playing up to par.

This is a juicy spot to take BK in game in the early third. Wish I thought about it earlier when they were down 7 or 8 and a timeout was called, were probably like +3.5

With our defense performing at an actually decent level, we have our worst possible offensive half

Easily the worst game of Durant's Nets career so far. Harden again invisible. Kyrie the only one actually being effective out of the big 3.

Guess who's gonna get the blame if we lose though?

That's all Harden has to do. Shoot when you are wide open! You would think you wouldn't need to tell a former MVP & scoring champ that but here we are

I personally think it’s no coincidence that Harden started playing like LeBron after demanding a trade after losing to LeBron twice in a week.

Totally fine with him facilitating but he needs to take those catch and shoot shots or take guys straight to to the hoop when he gets that easy matchup. He’s been too unselfish but I appreciate the fact he’s coming in here trying to not step on toes or be selfish.

I agree. Looks like his lifestyle caught up to him. Of course, this happens after the Nets trade every asset available for him.

I'm trying to be patient though, but we really don't need him to be pass first as much as he has been.

I'm being patient because he looked so awesome those first 2 games. Legit MVP stuff.

I'm not touching this game. I haven't been impressed by the Nets at all tonight. We should be smoking the Heat who are undermanned and yet we've been trailing and KD has been subpar.

Can't expect KD to be Superman every game.

Kyrie always does his thing.

Seems like the perfect game for Harden to step up. Instead he takes 2 shots the entire half!

Playing like **** again. This trade looks dumber and dumber everyday.

Lol What?

LeVert hasn’t seen the floor in two weeks and could miss the season.

I would rather have Allen, Prince and the ability to use those picks in trades.

Hopefully Harden goes back to normal soon.

Yeah but Allen has been a beast and would be exactly what we need right now.

I only like them at at least +3.5

They're -6.5 for the 2nd half, so for all intents and purposes, -2.5 for the game, and I'm not particularly confident they win this game, but if they lose I'm thinking it's going to be down to the wire.

I wish I took the Heat tonight at +8 though, as we were discussing a few games ago, you bet against the Nets on every big spread til they prove you should do the opposite.

Would have been a fantastic hedge though, having the Heat at +8 for the game and Nets +3 to maybe +5.

I'm not too worried. The Nets usually play much better in the 3rd and 4thQ. I'm expecting the offense to pick up... just need to keep that same defensive focus.

Listen, not trying to be all rose colored glasses here and homer it up, I'm frustrated as well, but you're integrating 3 MVP caliber players mid-season, you lost an excellent young defensive big, your defense was already a work in progress and we have a green as they come, rookie head coach...

This team is going to take 30+ games to truly gel, especially because there will be further roster tweaks and rotation changes.

Breathe easy y'all.

KD has been missing a ton of wide open shots, so hopefully he gets in stride in the second half. Also maybe we stop shooting 11% from 3.

I'm not holding my breath though!

Defense could collapse like it usually does.

The knee jerk reactions saying that we shouldn't have made the trade are hilarious
