I wish he would have said asked for a swap of Allen and Drummond instead, but they pickup enough of Drummond's contract to make it work. I believe that would have given Cleveland Bird rights on the younger 5?

we couldn't do that, teams have to be responsible for 100% of a player's contract when they are traded.

I was all for the Harden trade if Marks was able to fill out the rest of the roster with the right pieces.

We clearly have not done that.

I would honestly just rather have Kyrie/KD with Allen/Prince/Levert and use our first this year to acquire another role player.

This team doesn't make sense right now.

Another sluggish start with lazy defense.

Apparently, I’m overreacting to saying this is poor coaching. Yet, we’re getting our ass kicked after two days off to the second worst team in the East.

It’s not like we didn’t give up 149 to the worst team in the East with KD but what do I know?

I liked the gambit when the Nash hiring news broke. It didn't take long for those warm fuzzies to subside.

I remember my first misgivings were after the Charlotte loss. Borrego is a hard worker managing a tough project, but if I had to rank head coaches, he'd be in my bottom 5. James ROUNDLY out-strategized Steve in that game, it was so unnerving to see a clearly inferior team just execute us to shreds. They were running simple but clearly rehearsed action on both ends. Meanwhile, we looked like improv artists.

I've had a twinge of that feeling ever since. HCSN has had some positive moments, and I'm sure he's got a great "feel" for managing egos. But on game day, he's the league jumpoff.
