The Rockets are so dumb, I actually feel angry for the Rockets fans, even though it doesn't affect me.

The Celtics traded Theis? That's big actually, Theis is a very good player, I'd love to have him here. Way more than Drummond tbh, I really don't think Drummond adds anything other than empty rebounding numbers, while Theis is actually a fundamentally sound player defensively who can knock down a jumper on offense.

Celtics essentially traded Theis, Teague, and 2nd rounders for a rental of Fournier, and Wagner?

Have they decided to tank the season at this point? Because this makes them worse for sure imo. Wonder how Tatum and Brown are gonna feel about that?

Yeah, they're in shambles. The only good thing they did was keep Smart, the one capable facilitator they have. They didn't need Fournier and while they didn't give up much for him in the trade with the Magic, it seems it cost them Theis since it's being reported that the move got them back under the luxury tax.

Nets are the winners of the trade deadline....

none of our competition got any better. Boston got worse. Clippers got worse. Lakers did zilch. 76ers with a lateral type move.

blake is basically as good as anyone philly/LA got. and Harden is 100 times better then anyone traded tis season.

Exactly. If the 'Dipo Heat or Rondo Clippers are the new big obstacle, the rest of the league is done for

Miami and Denver are the winners of the trade deadline. Both gave up fringe players and got back some decent pieces.

Now let's see where things go with the buyout market...

TRUE

The only move that made things mildly more difficult for the Nets/East is Oladipo to Miami.

Lol this was the best outcome. Nobody really got better except Miami

And I'm not too worried about Oladipo.

Denver too, but theyre in the opposite conference.

Miami got Dipo for basically nothing. They're going to be a problem.

Buyout market looks like it's going to be headlined by Drummond and LMA. Anyone else of interest out there?

Oladipo isn't even good man.

Reddick is still my top buyout target.

He can be good playing off Butler and Bam. I thought highly of Miami even before they got him though, I think there's legit upset potential if we met them in the playoffs. I'm more worried about them than I am Philly or Milwaukee.

I thought Redick was traded to Dallas?

The idea of Butler and Oladipo beating Harden Kyrie Durant is unfathomable to me,

We would have the 3 best players in the series.

I don't see any serious threat in the East tbh. Only team that scares me is the Lakers.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
