Do you guys think James Johnson would have been in the closing lineup? Feel like his physicality would be useful in this series.

I don't know. Edwards was outplaying him by a decent margin

The starting center has basically just admitted that the team is lost and confused.

I give up.

What do they do in practice? Lol

Do they even practice or just hoist shots all day... smh

I seriously don't know what they do in practice besides shoot jumpers and individual work.

2-0 going home is not ideal, but its not the end of the world.

I expect the officiating to be different in Brooklyn. No more letting the Celtics maul KD.

Boston role players won't play as well away from their crowd.

Brooklyn home fans have been incredible the last few games. I know the fans will show up for this one. Will be the greatest home crowd yet.

KD is still an all time great player. He won't go out like this.

If its over, then its over. I will move on. But we are not done yet.

Lets win the next 2 games.

Go Nets.

It's hard to be optimistic. It's not like we're some great home team either.

Hopefully the days off have given KD some time to rethink his approach.

I dunno. I just want this to be over so Nash gets fired and we can actually get some structure in place.

We have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

There is every reason to be optomistic.

Its not over yet.

My confidence in Durant is really shaken right now. I've never seen him play this badly.

2h.14min mark they spoke on it lightly, but if you'll be able to find a video of the game watch closely what them people did in a back ground. It'll catch your attention.

Dude....he’s talking about the food choice that was given to Kyrie TO break his fasting being a banana and how he thinks that’s a bad look.

Nowhere anywhere does it say or show a fan dangling a banana. That’s 100% bull and he doesn’t even say that. Lol which btw probably came from the nets staff at kyries request.

Ah, yes. Potassium after working out, prepping and eventually playing in a physical playoff battle with no food or water for hours is certainly a horrible thing to do.

He was just supposed to eat in the locker room and allow weirdo fans to think he “quit” on them, right?

He wouldn’t dare and other fans wouldn’t dare to post stuff like that if Kyrie was in any other religion, especially Orthodox, Jewish or Hebrew.Stop the cap.

We aren’t stupid, we know what a “bad look” implies and being Muslim faith myself, I’m really not surprised how stupid these fans are making themselves look.

Just to make sure it's clear, the "bad look" comment is not from Bags himself, it came from Nets fans in that YouTube video linked by GTR11. The comment was something like, "Sure bananas are a superfood, but it's a bad look for Boston to give one to a black man, what with their history." Which is an obviously ridiculous insinuation. Kyrie is an adult who gets to eat whatever fruit he damn well chooses, that would be his training staff feeding it to him, and regardless it's perfectly acceptable to give anyone of any race a banana to eat. :banghead:

I know there has been some issues with fans yelling racial slurs inside and outside the Garden in recent years, as discussed last year by DMC, Kyrie, Smart, and Tristan Thompson. If there actually had been any racist monkey jokes that used bananas as props, that would have been equally serious. As I said last year, I would rather the Celtics play in front of empty seats than repeatedly subject opposing players to racial invective, so this is something I take very seriously. Calling it racist for a player to receive some fruits to eat though? That sort of accusation is an offensive mockery that cheapens and dilutes the actual very serious incidents that have happened. These people should be ashamed of themselves for their own racism in dictating what foods black people should be allowed to enjoy.

Anyway, Ramadan mubarak to you. I hope for a fun game tonight.

Edwards is too streaky he chose to regress at the worst time.

I read an article that Simmons won't be cleared for 5 on 5 practice because they don't have enough players for 5v5. Durant/Irving etc don't practice much at all or only shooting, probably to get some rest.

It's hard to get to know each others habits that way. At least they don't have a system to learn

I just came back from the dispensary here in Union County. If the Nets are going to sh*t the bed at least I'll be high as a kite while watching it

Of course they don't practice. What the f*ck kind of sh*t show is Marks running here????

Explains a lot why KD has looked like a bewildered idiot in these first two games.

Edwards is a 2nd round pick rookie, he gets a pass here because technically Joe Harris and Ben would be taking his minutes.

This is what needs to be repeated to KD, and most importantly he has to accept it.

KD and Kyrie wanted a hands off buddy/peer to let them do whatever they wanted. Now KD is being humiliated on the national stage and it doesn't look like anything will change the end result.

"We really don't need a coach".

Sure Kyrie.

That is cool how the lyrics of the arena music were relevant to Kerr's story 8-)
Kerr was taking an old record off the shelf and teaching KD some old style rock'n roll.

Kevin is 33 going on 34, are we really at a point where he doesn't trust his teammates?? His teammates can't trust him! He is the biggest reason why we are down 0-2 because of his selfishness
