Ben is really picking up his game.

On the other hand, wtf happened to Kessler? He got himself a contract and suddenly stopped being a basketball player.

It's a long season, I think Kessler will get minutes eventually but he's a 3 and D guy that brings some energy so I wouldn't expect much from him.

Well done NetsJets is 2-0 as gamethread starter.

Sixers in Philly up next, work your magic.

btw I liked the black Basquiats better, the white ones looked way too tight.

What do yall think happens w Kyrie? Does he affect the chemistry vs good teams, does he still get traded at the deadline? I know most of yall want him outta here but not more than we want Randle/Thibs gone

We both catching a break w.o Ja/Bane/JJ

Unfortunately we don't want a break :noway:

Yuta became what I'd hope Kessler to grow into

If someone other than NetsJets start the game vs Philly I gonna loose it , let’s keep the streak going especially vs Phillies

Probably depends how our next 10-15 games go , if we have something here that let them think we got any chance contend for a title ( I’m not talking about clear cut favorite but let’s say 10% chance ) then he stays and sign and traded later or even leave as free agent

If we still up and down without progress I can see him easily traded in December as well as Durant and other vets (Joe , Patty, Morris )

Either way I think he’s gone , question is the timing , maybe most wants him gone , I was rooting for him to succeed here , I still do maybe just a little less than 3 years ago

Yea I mean the window for Durant is closing after this season so w.e they do it needs to be the right deicison otherwise you're just wasting assets/value for a sinking ship.

I still think the move was getting Brown/White/1st from the Celtics. But I'd be sick if Durant put that team over the top n won another title... Idk if that would be enough but w Tatum n Smart that would be nasty

I think you r right , Tatum/Smart/KD could be enough for a title run , I don’t mind us trading Durant if we cannot content and for the moment doesn’t look like we can , but I don’t want him traded to either Boston or Philly, ideally team like Denver to help Jokic contend or anywhere else for best picks or prospects

Ingram and a bunch of the Pelican's cornucopia of picks is still my preferred trade. I think the offseason wasn't the right time for the trade since the Pels still wanted to see how Ingram+Zion worked together but given their relatively disappointing performance so far I think it may be in the conversation.

I think something like KD + Cam for Ingram + Dyson Daniels and 2 picks would be a good outcome for both teams.

I'm always rooting for this team, always happy when we win...but this is fool's gold. Simmons has two games where he's not totally useless and the Nets win a couple games against severely short handed teams, and now we're potential contenders all of a sudden.

Any talk of potentially contending is foolish. We're nowhere close to that. We're a play-in/1st round exit team at best. We should still blow it up, but I get why people don't want to go down that road.

Nah that's us if we even made the playin pls God we don't.

If anything like MDB said it all depends on Kyrie the wildcard. If u have a healthy Durant/Kyrie u can usually make it out of the 1st Rd. Depends what moves happen at the deadline I don't see contenders bc the team lacks in other areas. You're only gona go as far as they take u as evidenced last season. They gotta choose are they going all in on the rest of Durant career or start over w a different roster/picks

Yall could use Mitchell Robinson in the worst way. But foh he's my favorite player

I wouldn't give up on Kessler yet, but yeah Yuta is way better.

I liked Yuta ever since we had him on our SL team a few years back. I never understood why the Nets didn't keep him in the loop but better late than never. Pay that man his money

Great game from Ben; the team needs him to fuel their offense and defense. He is starting to come to form, let’s just hope he builds on it. Kyrie looked rusty but he was trying to play within the motion offense which is a positive. I didn’t like the defense in the first half and it seemed lackadaisically but they did a better job in the eecond half. I think TJ Warren will help this team. The glaring hole is the C position. People are gonna disagree but I’ll take my chances on Cousins. He won’t let anyone push him around and he can shoot the mid range and rebound. He is the missing piece to this team.

Never had a doubt of worry about Ben. Let him grow and give him time because quite frankly, he’s not the only guy across the league struggling to return to form after a back injury. Look at Micheal Porter Jr.

Agreed....just want add that we have to give Joe some time also. He came off a few surgeries and missed most of last season also.

His shot is working it’s way back; Yuta and O’Neal add shooting depth, hence getting rid of Mills and Thomas plus picks for a good big I think would be the right move

I would move Thomas before Mills. Cam clearly became a malcontent when he wasn't getting minutes. When Warren comes back, and with the emergence of Sumner i don't see a role for Cam
