imagine if he is kawhi 2.0???? i didn't really allow myself to believe that as anything beyond a long shot but his efficiency numbers despite the increased usage are staggering.

great to see the team win a game like this for confidence. i dont expect them to get too much consistency but playing DFS as the backup big and tightening the rotation is the way to go. i even like starting s3th at pg in the 4th quarter when the team needs some offense while the close out guys rest.

If Bridges is Kawhi 2.0, then the nets need to get him some help ASAP. Can't afford to waste his talent on a mediocre team. Package Simmons,Thomas and a pick and see what's out there.

That game looked over early early. Special win!

Four new starters was always going to take some time, hopefully this game gets things going in the right direction.

Bridges lowkey looking like Kawhi out there

Same.

Always thought Bridges (and even Ayton) was being held back by high usage Booker and ball dominant Paul. Booker has always been empty calories to me like LaVine but w/o Paul to help win games.

Which is why in the summer I wanted Bridges over Brown as well because they are imo very similar talent wise but with Bridges you get Cam Johnson and a ton picks because he's been underutilized and underrated.

The craziest part we dont even have to make any major trades. If we can get Philly ben, ben with his elite athleticism back. We can compete with any team in the east next year.

Mikal showing that he might be a 2nd option at worst. This first time his had this type usage it looks natural his still ultra efficient. All star next yr book it

More continuity, 'solid starter' Ben Simmons, and further growth from Claxton is far better than using draft picks and more for empty calories stars like LaVine and Beal.

Definitely looks like he was underutilized. Bridges looks natural with higher usage. His so unselfish and team guy he does whatever is needed. Man bridges better retire here

100% Unless its SGA or Luka no major trades. Draft a guy with potential for stardom and seeing if Ben's athleticism will return should be the goal

Of course the game I can’t watch they win. Maybe it’s me.

What I liked about Bridges is he gets to his spots and doesn't take bad shots, which makes him an efficient scorer. He still needs to develop other areas in his offense, but I like what I'm seeing.

If Jaylen was able to take a leap, I don't see no reason why Mikal can't.

We really need a good PG who can set up Clax. He's currently underutilized on the offensive end with Spencer hogging the ball and dribbling it non-stop.

 If Lavine and Beal are empty calories then Simmons is poison. Dude is garbage. PHI specifically built their team around him
and he was still terrible. You are overestimating this team. In order for this team to be taken seriously Simmons needs to be better than he ever was

Also Bridges is not a prospect. He is 26 entering his prime. He needs help now. Those draft picks will not fit the timeline. And as long he is here, the Nets cannot fully tank.

You know who would be a pretty nice fit with this roster? James Harden

Too soon?

Not really. If Harden goes to Houston again, I want Jalen Green.

I'm not ready to give up on Simmons either.

Everyone is acting like he just didn't have a back injury. Lets give him more time to recover before we decide hes cooked.

There is no reason to fast forward the timeline on this team.

26 is still young. In 4 years Bridges will be 30. Keep developing the youth. See if Simmons can come back and be himself next year.

No need to panic and trade all our picks. Please!

I've read enough game threads to have seen it all...but that turnaround was big. Suns fans will think we suck really bad one night (earlier this season) and then are really good a couple nights later...and it goes that way in game threads too..when games turn around, or a bad stretch happens.

I always say "basketball is a game of runs...the range of emotions that happens is crazy".

This one was such a blowout early though, it must have been really rewarding to stick with it. Was the D just playing crazy good and the Bridges got hot? I know with Bridges and DFS that is two elite defenders and CamJ and O'Neale are solid...along with Claxton.
