Whats wrong with Dinwiddie? He literally wont pass the ball to CT. CT is just at the corner telling him “hey pass me the ball” (12-14-23)
I respect your opinion, of course, but I've been a fan for some time and personally disagree. It seems out of character from what I've seen, and read from coaches and teammates. I've always thought him a consummate team player. Of course I've believed that he had the best BB IQ on the squad, so I've admittedly never thought to questioned his judgement or motives, even after miscues. Crap is known to happen at the speed and intensity of this game.
In summary, and with all that transpired in this game, I can live with his 14 assists, 3 steals, and a block, at an ATO ratio of 7:1. I believe our real problems were Steph and Klay.
I respect your opinion, and I realize you guys follow the Nets games more closely than I do. I mainly watch for Cam, so my perspective might be biased.
Cam is performing exceptionally well, and Dinwiddie, though playing solidly, seems to prefer direct assists over passing in the flow of the offense. While I don't think he's playing poorly or lacks basketball IQ, there are instances of indecisiveness in passing to Cam, allowing the Warriors to anticipate passes and disrupt the flow, impacting the rhythm of the scorer, even if it doesn't show in the stats.
Perhaps it's the natural dynamics of the Nets system, but it feels odd to have a less proficient scorer/shooter dictating the offense. In tonight's game, with Cam on fire, it would make sense for the offense to revolve around him, even if some situations, like the last possession with Mikal, present a 50-50 call between the hot hand and a good look.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
