He was doing great before the injury last season. He just needs more time on the court.

If Vince gets doubles there's never anyone open that can punish them for doubling with hitting an open shot .

He used to have at least one shooter but not anymore , our best shooter now is our backup pg.

Opponents can double team him almost consistently without having to fear anything.

Our only offensively dangerous lineups is Harris , Marcus , Vince , RJ and Krstic but it'll get burned of defense completely.

Or maybe out of the blue, front office and staff has been monitoring his minutes. But that's never happened before, has it?

This is hilarious. After every game I just check what's going on playoff wise and other than the 76ers every team fighting for the 8th spot keeps playing mediocre ball.

The way things are going the Charlotte Bobcats could sneak into the playoffs.

I knew the Nets would suffer this road trip but that Memphis loss was just so brutal. Only saving grace for this road trip would be to upset Kidd's new team and stop Houston's winning streak. That would completely save the road trip but obviously very unlikely.

I still want the Nets to make the playoffs even if they would likely been the Celtics or Pistons doormat.

My heart still wants to make the playoffs.

But my head says it would be so much easier, more likely, to fall further back, behind Bulls, Cats, Pacers, Bucks and pick up draft position on them. It's not like a 1st round pasting at the hands of the Celtics will show us anything we didn't already know. It's becoming clear reaching the 7th seed is no longer in play.

Sad day for me as a Nets fan. :'-(

I know how you feel. This road trip has removed any homerish hopes of a playoff upset esp. Memphis loss and the uncompetitive Hornets / Mavericks game.

I'm still hoping for the playoffs though despite fully realizing how heartless and soft this team is.

Is there any team softer than the Nets...Krstic / Boone frontcourt is soft, RJ settles more and more, VC is too often soft, and Harris so far seems more of a VC type personality. Our tough guys are also our least talented guys on offense.

Like a previous post I would love to see Diop replace Boone in the starting lineup to see if he can add some 'grit' to our starting unit.

Atlanta is now the 8th seed with the Nets/Bulls/Hornets/Pacers/Bucks all one winning streak away from making the playoffs. It will be musical chairs until the end.

Even if the Nets don't make the playoffs I'd like to see more competition in them...more fight...and that has to start with VC. He's easily the most talented player on the roster but far too often he will let RJ & others take the lead. He's gotta put the team on his shoulders/ankles (like T-Mac is now) for the remainder of the season but even as a big fan I really don't think he has it in him either physically or mentally...hope he proves me wrong but I haven't seen much signs of change.

There's nothing to fear when the play calls for everyone to stand around the perimeter and not move while Carter is being mugged like an unsuspecting tourist wandering through central park at 2am

I'm officially on the SIC Tank promotional Tour. I'd rather us get a top 10 pick than keep up with the illusion that this team actually even cares. I'd rather us not risk it anymore and just start to tank and with the way the team as played this past week and a half I wouldn't say it'd be to difficult for them.

I think we're all on the tour now, either by choice, or at this point, by brute force. :noway:

We need to Tank Tank Tank..

I think if we tank the remaining games, I think the pingpong balls will roll in our favor.

We have to take all our games and pray that some of the teams with 5-6 wins less than us wins 7-8 games for the remainder of the season.

Welcome!!!! Not that I condone such thing.

Krstic needs to sit. I am pretty sure RJ has some nagging injury that can put him on the IR. Now that D wade is done. We need to do the same. I would let VC play though.

TANKING ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!!

Now the question is who does Stern give the pick to, Brooklyn or Manhattan. Not that I am saying the lottery is fixed.

Even if everybody played, we'd still be tanking.

All we gotta do is keep Frank because if we let him go we might mess around and win a game.

Agreed , he made clear on several occasions that his body is fine he just needs some court action to get back into game shape . I'd rather do it now then the beginning of next season.
