I think we learned something else on our substitutions...Hassell and Simmons shouldn't be in together.

BTW, yes, a lot of the blame for giving up a 22 point lead at home lies SQUARELY on Opie's shoulders.

Just a horrific coach.

I can't stand watching the same mistakes and weakness over and over.
These things are definitely an extension of the coaching staff and Opie.

That's the problem, we have but Opie hasn't.

Unreal, running some non-offensive small ball lineup against Utah's big lineup.
What is this supposed to accomplish?!

Like SIC has been saying, if we are going to start consistently blow leads again, at least have Yi and the rook's in there so they pick up valuable experience in end of game situations.

LOL Frank is a terrible coach. When you play Hassell and Simmons at the same time, you're basically playing 2 on 5.

I was staring in disbelieve when Frank defended Okur on 3 straight possessions with Hassel, Simmons and then Carter, it's like he's trying his hardest to be NBA's most unconventional coach, not in a good way btw. Coach of the year right there ESPN.

Hi Net fans. I'm a fan of the Nets (mainly bec. of VC) from the Philippines.

Lawrence Frank's decision-making especially the substitution patterns are just horrible. I'm not expecting this young and rebuilding team to make a lot of noise this season but watching this team self-destruct mainly because of horrendous coaching is just disgusting and unacceptable.

A good and respectable coach like Eddie Jordan gets fired (this despite playing without his starting pg and center) while a guy like Lawrence Frank continues to hold on to his position is just unbelievable. Nets' surprising season so far can be attributed more to the career season of Devin and the young Nets plus VC of course but not with Frank's coaching. Sometimes I wonder if Frank and Thorn are the best of friends.

We gotta find ways to win at home. 4-8 vs. 8-4 on the road. 12-12 overall.

Next up is Jason Kidd and the Mavs.

Take note also that Vince had a 30-point game (plus he visited the ft line a lot) and Devin had a 20 and 10 game and yet we lost by 13 points after leading by more than 20.

Thanks for welcoming me, NjNeTs1029.

When is Hayes expected back ?

What's the story with CDR, hurt ? If he's healthy shouldn't he get Hayes minutes instead of Hassell ? I'd rather give him some burn now even if it meant some losses.

Swift hurt or out of the rotation ? I still like him in the mix even if he takes Boone's minutes or a mix of both depending on who's bring energy, D, etc.

Ever since the surprising All-Star #'s came out Yi has been playing like absolute garbage.
Anderson + Yi are the X-Factors for this team.

Others have already touched on the odd subs this game (kinda reminded me of some games from previous years where it looked like the Nets were subbing to let the other team back in) but when the Nets were down that much late in the 4th (2+ minute mark) I thought they should have run some short clock plays for Devin instead of oddly milking the clock with Vince p & r plays.

If only the Nets could play 1st halfs , all on the road they would be invincible !....

Well looking forward to the big game Friday. I've got a W for that one already (burp).

I don't care what anyone or any of the players say, this was a crushing blow to the confidence of the entire team.

I like this kid already. We Filipinos know our basketball :D

VC is crazy popular in the Philippines. I just wish I can watch these games more so I can trash Frank along with everyone. For now, I'll have to take everyone's word for it.

Hi there. Are you a Filipino also?

Yes he's still popular but unfortunately, not as popular as he used to be especially when the likes of Lebron and Wade came into the league.

bad decision to get SGs guard a center. Okur knows how to score, and he could drop 40 points any given night. Doesn't mean he is the best thing since cheesecake and facebook, but the man deserves a lot more respect.

I think really Deron Williams outplayed Devin Harris tonight. Williams LED his team to the win, it was his effort that went around and propagated to the rest of the team. Good coaching by Deron, and excellent execution by Okur and Korver. Sorry NJN, but you owed us one for earlier this year. I think we have now both given each other the biggest blows.

In a word.... Disgusting

Can some one give me a Non bias, (well as best as you can) truthful recap about how we blew a 20 point lead to lose by 11. Pls try and keep your hating for players and coach to a minimum.

Cheers

We kept on turning over the ball and settling for jumpshots and just about missing every single shot. Also players couldnt make open shots. Dooling could have easily had made 3 3pointers but missed them even though he was open. Same YI missing open jumpers.
