You can certainly blame him IF he took it upon himself to run the clock down.

Even if Harris went for the quick two and it went in, I wouldn't have wanted our defense being the deciding factor of the game. Sure we went on that run, but we had a few breaks with Brook getting that no call on Bosh and the Raptors falling into some lapses. Judging on our defense from the entire game, I don't mind that move.

What I mind more than the Harris shot, which I stated wasn't a bad shot, was that we didn't call a timeout when the ball had to be saved at midcourt. I think we could've executed better with a called play.

And again, I'd rather VC take the shot.

Man I was hoping for another Carter buzzer beater on that pathetic raptors team. That ending was rather disappointing, probably disappointing for the raptors players too, considering how much they enjoy being pissed on by Carter over and over.

I used to be a big Detroit Lions fan... but during Joey Harrington's rookie season I started feeling the way you're feeling. I actually started throwing stuff.... at that point I just decided that watching was making me unhappy, so I stopped.

Haven't spent a dime on sunday ticket since.

My problem with that team wasn't Harrington, it was some of the other moves that Millen was making... particularly the way he treated Herman Moore and Johnnie Morton, then replaced them with receivers who couldn't catch (Bill Schroeder, Az Hakim). Harrington would often bounce the ball off his receivers, when they weren't alligator arming passes thrown over the middle.

Based on the players Coach Frank is putting out there, I think you're expecting too much. The Nets best bigs are in suits, apparently. The win-loss record with Mr. Anderson starting is quite telling.

Carter, always the bridesmaid, never the bride... he can take and make all the last shots he wants...he will never win a ring... unless ofcourse if he's paired with Lebron/Kobe/Wade.

Are you guyz trading him already...?? or is he your saviour for this season?

Accept Devin Harris as your franchise player, he missed this shot, so what, he will learn and become a better player because of it...he's young...but he is the NETS future (not Carter).

Not sure why the hate for the Raptors, but oh well. A win is a win...I think both teams can't win at home...that's all...

As a raptor fan, I was surprised the ball didn't go to Carter, everthing was perfect except for the shot. I'm not sure why Devin didn't make the move earlier, you'll probably would have had one more chance even with Anthony Parker getting the rebound. He probably would have missed one and you could have gone for the win with a 3.

Lol I am not even a nets fan. It is just funny that although Carter screwed over the raptors so many times, still every time they play, the raptors pussies wouldn't even given him a hard foul. It is just like these player take nothing at the fact that Carter handed them a playoff series loss and 2 game winning baskets. Not even to mention the whole fiasco on how he forced a trade.

Good game guys. I really like Devin and Brook - they have the potential to be really, really good.

Has E checked in this season? Is Jerseyjac still here?

Jac is a mod on the board.

Enetric has returned to the surface.
I'm starting to think he was Cliff Robinson or Jason Kidd the whole time.

Considering how bad our team (the Raptors) are with rebounding... it would have been a lot smarter to take a quick shot and have a chance at a second look.

I also thought Harris was a fool not to pass the ball to Carter, who seems to be automatic in these end game situations with our team. Just crazy to not pass him the ball... I know he made a killer move to get that shot and all, but that decision was roookish. Than again, maybe Harris does not follow basketball closely and was not aware of Carter's and the Raptors history (read this sentence with sarcasm).

Yeah, not like the previous game where Bargnani used Carter for curling practice?

I do what I feel, not because people ask me to do this,” Bargnani says, holding his hands over his head and doing a strange chicken dance.

Are Rod Thorn and Lawrence Frank related to one another? I'm sick and tired of Frank's same old game plan. He's a decent x and o coach but unfortunately can't make adjustments during the game. For all the accolades Rod Thorn has received as one of the best gm, I can't understand why he has yet to fire Frank.

I had a feeling this was going to be a lose.

I had more fun trying to remove ice off my sidewalk then watching this game.

Wow.

Good game. Raps need that so bad and when Harris broke the ankles, my stomach dropped.

I think it was good plan by Harris and everything went to plan except for draining the shot, but given Vince's penchant for burying the Raps in late-game situations, I am glad Devins took it.

See you in April!
