You should start embedding the tweets rather than copy and pasting the info. It would make it easier for us to do more follow-up research.

He's alright but Atkinson would need to teach him how to play defense first.

I'm usually not one to hate on guys for their free agency decisions, but this is a soft move at its finest. Can't beat em, join em just got its new poster boy.

I lost all respect for KD. He's free to do as he pleases but to me its a cowards way of operating. They had these guys on the ropes and lost, as true competitor would want to BEAT THEM, not join them

the new breed of NBA player lacks courage. Lebron nearly beat GS last year alone and this year he put up three of the greatest finals performances in the league's history to take them down including one of the greatest blocks of all time. He has my respect. KD? Nah. Can't see KD ever manning up like Lebron did vs. Golden State

I'm in line with you guys.

The day before his decision I was on the GB explaining to people how KD (and GSW) can rationalize to themselves that this move was necessary.

I'm sure they told KD about how winning 73 games meant nothing since they didn't bring home the title. They downplay the 73 wins and emphasize the fact that they didn't win. They're not going to bring up the fact that KD was close to beating them with his own squad and if it wasn't for OKC choking, OKC would have been the ones going to the Finals. They aren't going to bring up the fact that they were 48 minutes away from being back-to-back champions.

I'm sure that they convinced KD that everything will change once he's a champion and that they really need him. Congrats to GSW for persuading a top-3 player in believing that he needed to join the prohibitive favorite to win the title going forward.

But KD himself?

Wow, what a lack of resolve and mental fortitude. This dude could've said "You know what...let me get one more chance to beat them (,set myself up to make more money while doing it) and re-assess things next year." No, he convinced himself that his move wasn't that bad and he actually thought that writing on the Players' Tribune would soften the blow lol?

I find it incredible that KD of all people has basically given LeBron the perfect setup and narrative for being tied with MJ (if not being the GOAT) if the Cavs are able to make it back to the Finals and find a way to beat GSW.

I strongly disliked LeBron's decision in 2010. I thought it was bad for the league and I still do. In a weird sense, the only reason why we don't view him and his time in Miami as negatively as we used to is because Wade and Bosh became more injury-prone and things ended up not being as easy as we (including the Heat) thought they would be.

LeBron's decision was of a similar magnitude because it was the first "OMG...the best player, another top 5 player, and arguably the best big man on one team" free agency move in history. But the nuances of his situation/story make it a bit worse in that: 1) KD still had a chance to make more money and just wait a year before moving on; 2) he joined the very team he almost beat and the very team that stole his road to the Finals away from him; 3) and he joined the team that IMO would have won yet again if Curry was truly healthy and Draymond wasn't suspended in Game 5 (although he deserved to be suspended in the Thunder series for the groin kick to Adams).

I've lost all respect for him. If he leaves Golden State next year and actually becomes a better player, I could see him having a bit of a redemption story but man oh man will it ever be hard to view him in the same light as I did before.

I'm looking forward to the first Westbrook matchup and the first game against LBJ, who ironically would be cheered on by the majority of the public if Cleveland traded for just about any player in the league right now.

If there's anything that New Yorkers don't like, it's weakness. New Yorkers appreciate cockiness and confidence than weakness because it means you believe in yourself more than anyone else. Durant looks like the biggest fraud in NBA history right now, which is sad considering how much people liked him before.

Sources: Sacramento Kings actively seeking to trade Rudy Gay

Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay has emerged as one of the most established NBA veterans available via trade, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN that the Kings are actively seeking to move Gay as well as big man Kosta Koufos and guard Ben McLemore.

The Chicago Bulls, sources said, are among the teams that engaged with the Kings in exploratory discussions on Gay before the Bulls' big moves this week to sign Chicago native Dwyane Wade away from the Miami Heat as well as former All-Star guard Rajon Rondo.

Probably the only thing I liked about King (and/or his team) was the willingness to participate in multi-team trades. It's obviously too early to tell whether Marks is averse to them or if he just hasn't found a deal that he's wanted to participate in.

Multi-team deals are usually a pretty good way of obtaining assets at little to no expense.

If there was a big market for him they'd have a ton of offers to choose from and he'd likely be moved already.

I think a lot of teams would like to have Taj on their roster, but wouldn't give up much to acquire him in trade.

Something like Bogs and cap is likely enough in my honest opinion. Don't know if Chicago would prefer Bogs to a 3rd team though.
