From that link:

Believe what? his numbers are down across the board from last year.

"ive been a fan since he started playing for brooklyn"

Wow a whole 6 months! amazing!

His rebounds went up from 2.9 to 4.3
His free throw % went up from 84 % to 85%
He's got more blocks this year too

All you can complain about is his field goal and 3 point percentage he spent the first half of the season getting over being passive the coach wants him to shoot whenever he's open.

Allen Crabbe's fg% has been 55% and 40% from three the last 5 games
for the season it's 40% overall 37% from three

whats more important. a 77 game sample or a 5 game sample

you are noting a 1% raise in FT percentage but discounting a much bigger drop in FG%, TS%, 3 point%?

Can't be mad at Crabbe this year. He nearly doubled his 3pt attempts per minute. He's at 37.5%.

He was engaged defensively year round. Even guarded PGs at times. Big plus if he can guard 1 to 3.

He's clearly a guy that plays better next to two ball handlers and next to good offensive players. Due to injuries, he was put in tough spots. Not surprised his numbers jumped post all star break. 40% from 3. 60 TS%. 20 game sample size.

Expecting 20 PPG out of him and 1st option offense because of his contract doesn't make any sense. He has potential to be an extra high volume, high percentage 3 and D guy who makes the defense pay off the ball. The teams goal was to make him a quality starter, not a star. He definitely made strides towards that.

I have no issues with Allen Crabbe, I would just like to see some more consistency on offense. Defense and on the glass he is stellar. He competes out there.

Agree with most of what everyone is saying. Statistically, Crabbe incrementally improved everywhere except his %'s, which is understandable with such a massive volume increase. His defense and effort was a lot better than the reputation going into the season. His length is disruptive and he is a decent athlete. I think there's still some obvious upside if the team around him improves and he can settle into a role that results in increasing his shooting percentages back around 40%. Basically his post-all star break #'s but for a full season:

15 ppg
41% from 3
44% overall

If Crabbe gives you that kind of production through 82 games this season you take it because he then becomes a possible trade piece

“It’s a match made in heaven,” Crabbe told Sixsmith, noting that Wesley Matthews, a teammate on the Blazers had told him, “There are 30 teams in the league, but it only takes one team to love you. And for me, it’s Brooklyn.”

“I want to jump start this season the way I ended last season,” Crabbe told Sixsmith. “It took time, but I’m glad it finally clicked for me. That 41-point game was great. I never had 40 points in high school or college and I get it in the NBA.”

“The Nets have a strict program. they want us back two or three weeks after. We had a little down time after the season was over, but they want us right back in.”

Where is this guy with signature "Allen Crabbe fanclub"

Crabbe is a trash. Worst player in Nets right now.

he's moved onto the Jared Dudley fan club, the only place in the world where a dude shooting 29% from three point land is considered a floor spacer.

I was a big supporter of Crabbe and was hoping he improves, but there really is no longer a point keeping him long-term.

Joe has overtaken him despite coming in relatively equal players (with slight differences in strengths/weaknesses).

We needed to take a risk when we acquired him, but we have now recovered and have acquired younger players plus have our own picks (and more) coming our way.

If we are able to move him without giving up much, it is time to consider those options.

Crabbe has really disappointed this year... I know his three-point shooting tends to improve after the all-star break (+5%) but this is brutal stuff.

I'm not sure how you can deny dudley spaces the floor. I can give you access to my league pass so you can go to the games and pause/see where his defender is when he is behind the three point line. 29% this year but players respect his career 40% number.

I'm all for moving on for crabbe, or hardballing him to a drastically reduced extension.... but on the floor/contracts aside he is still a great fit and he wont shoot 29% all year. Crabbe shot 30% from three last december then went on to shoot: 35,38,39, 50% month over month to close out the year. lets also no forget he had a slow start with a minor injury.

Look he is always going to be a 1 trick pony role guy, but he still has that 1 trick. percentage will normalize as volume increases and he doesnt look to be pressing

I'm just busting chops, I notice the spacing  his shot has been fairly awful (now back up to 30%) though.

Has there been a player worse than Crabbe in the entire NBA this season? Genuinely curious. He's averaging 23 MPG, shooting 25.2% from the field, with a 37.1 TS% and a PER of 2.1.

https://insider.espn.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/order/false

Looks like only Ron Baker has a worse PER, and he only averages 10 mpg in 8 games played. Crabbe dominates the field with -1.3 wins added and -37.9 value added.

He's not great! And we're likely going to pay him 18.5 million dollars next year.
