This kid is a flat out stud, and is consistently getting by NBA defenders with ease, and in crafty ways plus the cross over dribble.

Lin/LeVert will be an excellent two way backcourt if healthy. Lets hope we can get some help at SF.

At Michigan, he flashed defensive potential but one issue that was pronounced was him getting steamrolled by wings with more mass. The great thing is he can slot in at both which allows you guys to put him where the roster dictates.

Doesn't look like it's a problem at all anymore. He held his own against guys like LBJ. Guess he built a lot of muscles after his injuries.

Or if RHJ gets a corner three.

Is Kenny grooming JHar to be the next Korver?

This isn't evidence based, but just a hunch. Levert gets developed as a SG that can pass. Next season, I bet he starts w/ (RHJ/Harris) next to Lin if Bojan is moved.

As far as the second unit, Whitehead and Skil are either gonna work things out or Skill gets shopped next season.

That's kind of where I see him. A Lin/Levert backcourt next year will be very solid. His ability to pass at the SG spot will be more valuable than forcing him to be the PG.

Yeah, i prefer that he play the two. He can create offense for others easily but he also shouldn't take a back seat scoring wise.

I don't think Caris is a volume scorer. Was never wired that way.

I did not follow him in college but from his time in BK he always seems to make the right choices which is weird for a rook. Always seems to know when to pass, score, reset, etc. Very cerebral player I've noticed. Scoring wise, If he can stay healthy it would not shock me at all if he can get close to 20ppg during his prime years.

That comes from learning from John Beilein for 4 years :D

Personally, I think he peaks at 16-18 ppg 4-5 rpg 4-6 apg

I think he can be a 20 5 and 5 1-2 stls per game guy with some seasoning. he's very sharp, and doesn't take a lot of bad shots in order to score.

I see shades of a guy who's going to be a consistent go to scorer. Maybe not super high volume but someone who is going to be creating his own shots and other's shots on a nightly basis. Look at the confidence in the ball handling and how he gets separation from defenders. That's not going away any time soon.

Yea, some seasoning, stay healthy, add some muscle.... Caris will be a very good player in his own right, someone who will play within the system in place. No ball hog.

I like that he does not get rattled when pressured as he dribbles the ball well. He is composed.

LeVert should play at 2 more than 3.
He's quick and long. Playing at 2 maximizes his potential as good playmaker and defender.
Judging from my impression of his body, even after he put on some muscle, he's still gonna be kind of skinny.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

He had a rough night versus the Pacers. In a way, its good because its a reminder that he still has a long road ahead of him.

28-89 from three. 31.5% would like to see that improve. missed alot of wide open looks in transition and on catch and shoot.

other then that im really happy with his play on both ends.

You got a better SG than Hield much later in the draft. That's good drafting right there. Cold shooting nights happen to everyone. Once he is playing alongside a legit PG he'll shine even more.

He didn't shoot it well but he did everything else. Another great sign. Held George to 40%. He isn't here to be a one dimensional scorer. Nobody on this roster except Lin is capable of this level of skill against a top tier player.

It's a testament to how much of a beast Paul George is because LeVert nearly made him do a split and he recovered quickly enough to challenge LeVert's shot and forced a miss.

You want LeVert to play against guys like that every single night. That's what will make him better as a player and a competitor. Not playing against 2nd unit guys. I'm glad they got whipped in that first qtr. I bet when he gets his next start he'll bring a bit of an edge with him versus the next top tier guy he has to face.
