No, please no.

Is Tim Hardaway Jr. really any better than Sean Kilpatrick?

IMO, definitely not worth 10+ M per year.

Kilpatrick (27) - 13.1 PPG, 4.4 REBs, 2.2 ASTs, 41% FG / 34% 3pt / 54.6 TS%. 1.4 W/S

Hardaway Jr (24) - 14.5 PPG, 2.8 REBs, 2.3 ASTs, 45% FG / 35% 3pt / 56.8 TS%. 4.8 W/S.

He's better and also a former teammate of Caris.

Otto Porter is the obvious go big move that would make this offseason a home run. We know he's a solid shooter and defender, but unlike most of the rest of the guys available he's also multi-dimensional offensively being able to win in the post. Plus he's 24. On a 4 year deal he's a no-brainer since they wouldn't even be capped out.

Millsap hanging around the market as other teams get capped out is also interesting. I'd guess the Celtics may go after him or Porter if they miss out on Hayward?

Also put me in the category of not really being interested in KCP or Hardaway. Not sure they will be worth it from a value standpoint.

Carroll/Poeltl/Siakam for Andre Nicholson?

I don't like either of those prospects it was really confusing to me when they took Poetl that high.

What about something like this?

Nicholson + RHJ + Kilpatrick

For

Carroll + OG

Helps us improve at SF, get a *potentially* better prospect, dump Nicholson and open up another roster spot by getting rid of one of our too many guards.

Agreed im not big on poetl... id prefer there 2018 pick even if its in the 20's.

i like lucas niguera alot... id take him and carroll and a second

yeah i dont want THj. i mean he is better then kilpatrcik but your point is legit... like how much better then kilpatrick is he? both are 1 dimensional chuckers who dont play much defense.

id hate THJ on bazemore money

i think we will talk to these guys and their agents then make an RFA offer on the 6th. even if we singed an RFA today the 48 hour clock doesnt start until the 6th so id assume the 6th at 12:01 am.

i also think while it might not be popular here we could see a sign and trade, were we give washington or detroit RHJ in order for them not to match the contract and to send us the player.

im a big RHJ guy, and i dont want these RFA guys alone let alone givnig up RHJ but it would make sense from a cap perspective.

if we max porter or KCP then we would be capped out once dlo/rhj/levert get extensions. including RHJ gets us under the cap with a core of dlo/levert/porter.

hopefully not but i wouldnt be shocked at something like that.

Thanks Prok. Maybe I'm a bit too low on THjr, but in my opinion, he doesn't really turn the needle for us. He will always be a role player and not that much of an upgrade in order to sacrifice future cap flexibility.

I don't think they'd trade RHJ for either of those guys while also giving them massive contracts. I think they have even more motivation than they did with Lopez to not deal him unless it's bringing back a potential super star.

Boston is about a season away from playing themselves for fools. Danny Ainge is going to look crazy when our pick isn't a top 5 next season.

Gallinari is looking for 4/95M and Ibaka just signed for 3/65M. If they miss on Porter and he's still around, I'd take Gallinari if the 4th year could be partially guaranteed.

yeah im not saying it happens... but its hard to pay porter the max and then extend RHJ later. marks said he doesnt want to have a capped out 35 win team. which is what you risk maxing porter and then extending RHJ in a couple years.

then again, we could max porter and deal RHJ at the deadline, nexy year, next years deadline, the offseason after etc... so its not that we NEED to trade him.... but if your marks, and you want porter, and you think the wizards match i can see him giving them RHJ to agree to not match and send us porter. porter would get his 5th year in that scenario, so he probably accepts too.

I don't think Marks would do it. I don't think he wants to give out more than 2-3 years to anyone close to 30. We know he wanted Reddick and it sounds like he held the line there.

Taj Gibson, Jodie Meeks are all off the board.

How about the Nets trade Andrew Nicholson for Ryan Anderson?
I don't think the Nets need Andrew Nicholson's service at all. Ryan Anderson is a stretch4.
HOU can clear 13Millions space to sign FA.

Carroll + asset, get it done Sean

We badly need a small forward, getting Carroll and an asset would help us both short and long-term. Kenny probably knows how to get Carroll back on track for two solid seasons.

no thanks on anderson. gonna turn 30 soon, worse defense and almost as bad a rebounder as lopez. i LOVE anderson, one of my favorite nets, but bad fit.

Actually I'd rather have Carroll than JV. JV would not fit in with our playstyle. If Kenny thinks he can get DC to play like he did those two years in Atlanta then great, but he'll be 31 before the season starts so I wouldn't assume that.

I know his shot sucked in Toronto but how was his D?
