Our coaching stuff really good at exposing other teams weak links. Matt showed here few sets. Players like Robinson, Kemba, Trea etc can't guard chair, let alone Kyrie or Harden ( there are select few if any ).

Only thing that crippling us right now is shot blocking and chemistry. DJ contract can't end soon enough, trade should happen.

Saltics losing Hayward was huge. He was their glue guy that made offense look better than it is. They in trouble now.

This is talent I was talking about

It's going to be huge issue. I'd love to get Saltics in a second round easy sweep here.

I knew Saltics going to lose. Kemba missing game winner is cherry on top. I'm off to a Saltics blog oh it's going to be great read.

Kemba is a nice guy, so he won't get lambasted, but imagine if Kyrie was playing as poorly? Heck, he's getting criticized more for his on-court play than Kemba is right now, despite the fact that Kyrie has been a top 10 player so far.

I know I went on record last year saying I would rather have had Kemba because he's 90% the player Kyrie is without the injury issues, but that's clearly been proven wrong now given his knee injuries which look like they're chronic, and he's now no longer close to that 90% of Kyrie level.

Don't wish ill on him, but it's funny thinking back to how many Celtics fans swore that as a player (forget about leadership, forget about injuries), he was better than Kyrie. They'll deny it now though, but it was said.

I also lol at Celtics fans that thought Kemba was somehow an asset in potential trades (people were saying he could have been used to trade for Harden)...dude is on one of the most overpaid contracts in the league, you have to attach assets for a team to take him, let alone use him to get someone useful.

Kyrie has a lot to prove and show us later come PO time, don't get that twisted guys. Dinwiddie will be resigned and be a luxury just because Kyrie is Kyrie.

He is home grown and forever be one of us. " best ability is availability ". Show me that for another two years and chip... boy will be god here.

My boys Din and Nic will show up. I know they will.

We don't speak much of Joe. How great hes been for us.

Jeff is a god now. We'll see if he can hold up.

I like Kemba but it's clear that he's on a decline.

Oh well. Not our problem.

Bobby freaking Portis busting some Blazer azz right now. Deflections on a perimeter, nearly two sreals on PnR and abusing that offensive glass. High energy guy that makes 3.8 mil with player opponent year. Would love him here.

if some think Nets bad at defense, go check some Portland games. That's what bad defense look like. We play solid d, we just can't afford brain dead plays and no effort stuff. Wiz killed us just because of those reasons. 5pt lead with 12 secs to go should be W for any team, you have KD and Kyrie on your team it's an embarrassment not to close it. Teams around NBA will get up to play vs us, we can't afford to play half azz.

That's what I was thinking when we were in Atlanta. And while I feel it's best for there to be no fans in the stands, the Hawks are playing with fire letting fans sit courtside. I don't think any other team that allows fans in the stands has had any sitting courtside. Silver should have killed that idea from the start.

i mean, we have statistically the worst defense of all time since the trade. i think while thats not the actual case, our defense is certainly poor. and its not just a weak link, we are bad across the board:

-we give up alot of second chance points/offensive rebounds
-we give up alot of points off turnovers/in transition
-we give up alot of points in the paint/lack rim protection
-we give up alot of open threes/dont rotate well

Alot of this is correctable to the point where we can be average-ish. but right now, we certainly are bad. even without that russ miracle three, we had still given up 140 points to the wizards.

We need to stop going small so often. we cant go small for 30+ minutes a game. its not going to work unless we want to pkay the big 3 36+ minutes a night and grind every other game down ot the wire.

It's gross, vile and disgusting and frankly the player's association is out of their minds as well.

That one interaction could infect both teams. Unbelievable. I really think the Hawks management is utterly stupid.

Let's be very clear: The type of people who will go to a basketball game in an indoors venue during a pandemic are the people who are least likely to take it seriously. I was watching the Jazz play the other night and they had fans in the stands with no masks on, the TV camera had to cut away quickly. You think that woman practices social distancing, proper mask wearing etc? I doubt it.

Adam Silver and the owners are playing with fire indeed. Last night should have been the end of it.
