Gotta find a diamond in the rough big though imo.

You guys thought this defense was painful to watch before? LOL, check it out without Allen now, and with DJ getting the majority of the minutes now.

Our offense will be our defense. As long as we get guys constantly moving off the ball, teams will have anxiety thinking about how to cover everyone and will get tired actually trying to do it.

Guys the Clippers gave up 5 first round picks for Paul George PLUS SGA.

We kept most of our roster intact. Im not worried at all.

As long as Kyrie comes back we are good to go.

Why is everyone saying we didn’t give up much. I would agree had it been levert Allen prince and a couple of picks. Take out the players we traded seven first round picks for one player. It’s championship or bust now. And too be honest with this team it’s gonna be bust unless they make more moves to bring in a better center. And better defense.

We don't even need Kyrie to be honest. Durant/Harden/Harris is an impossible cover for defenses. Joe is shooting a ridiculous 51% clip from 3 good luck to our opponents.

Its four picks and pick swaps. Not 7 first rounders.

We don't even know if those pick swaps convert.

Lakers and Clippers both gave up way more than we did. Harden is probably better than either AD or George.

Kyrie needs to buy into playing off ball for sure when he gets back.

Really good point about Harden's Iron man availability. Huge value!

Sean Marks is ruthless. I don't think he randomly pulled in the Cavs and the Pacers ad hoc. The framework was probably in place for weeks waiting on Rockets to give up hope.

We still have a good amount of depth tbh.

Brown, TLC, Johnson, Green, Shamet.

Im ok with throwing Perry into the fire.

We may need to make a few free agent signings too.

We will be a hot time for buyout candidates at the deadlines.

After this trade, I think that the team will give it 10-15 games or so before they make another move. What will they be focusing on:

1) How do we defend elite opposing wings? Will Harden or KD be good enough to slow down LBJ/Kawhi/PG/Donic/Giannis etc
-- This can probably be fixed with small move for a 3&D type player.

2) How do we go about opposing teams Bigs/Who plays the 5 in crunch time
-- Internally: Reggie Perry(Do you trust a rookie?) ; Nic Claxton (Shows promise but hasn't played enough) ; Jeff Green (solid but gives up a bunch of size.
-- Externally: Can definitely trade for a serviceable big(Cavs? Pistons?) by flipping a Guard.

3) Do you trust the shooting/guys around the BIG3: Joe (yes), Shamet(ugly so far) TLC(streaky AF) Brown(not a 3pt guy yet but great D and effort)

Anyway, will be super exciting. Just need to get Kyrie on board LMAO

Yeah, the fact AD and PG not franchise players you build around and Harden is does it for me. I'm cool with this move. Not often you get a chance to trade for top three player in his prime.

Only complaint I have is we couldn't get Houston to throw in Tucker. I love his tenacity and we definitely needed his style of play on this team.

We're also going to be leaning heavily on DeAndre. Hope he's ready to contribute for real now.

How do we defend? Ask D'Antoni this question and he will tell you:
"Offense is the best defense."
