Re: How would you fill out the roster?
Is MKG still out there unsigned? If we're going total liability as a shooter for one of the 3 roster slots, I'd pick him over RHJ.

Valanciunas or Dieng are interesting options if Marks deals Dinwiddie.

With how flighty kyrie can be im not inclined to trading dinwiddie even though harden can play the point
I also don't think memphis would do it

True, but unless Marks is confident Dinwiddie is going to re-sign and Tsai is willing to break the bank for him, he's probably not going to be here past this season anyway and there's little guarantee he's back this year from injury.
Though his value is compromised, it's not nil for certain teams, who would view him as a long term major piece, but wouldn't have the cap to sign him this summer if he wasn't already on the roster with Bird Rights.
Don't know if Memphis would love him, but I'm fairly confident there are a number of teams in that boat who would come in as a third team.
My hope is still someone like Sacramento or Orlando would look for something like Barnes and Whiteside for Dinwiddie and Claxton and a couple 2nds, or Gordon or Ross and Birch for the same package. Or add in Jordan and snag Horford and Bazley. Maybe Norman Powell and Baynes? Barton and Millsap. Maybe Gay and Lonnie Walker, doubt San An would go for that though. I would not be shocked to see Myles Turner become a Net.

I think lamarcus aldridge should be the next target something like dinwiddie claxton and Jordan plus a second work

Not going to lie, I'd be pretty apprehensive if LMA was who we got back for that package. He's strictly a center these days and a relatively slow one at that. He is not at all anymore, the extremely mobile, super underrated, excellent defender. And honestly, the 2 San An games I've watched in full this year, he looks a bit disinterested and lazy as well. I'd love him if he gets bought out, but not loving that trade.
I would however, love that trade if Lonnie Walker or Keldon Johnson were attached.

Na LMA is exactly what we do not need. We need a big that can defend and grab rebounds. A quicker center that isn't a liability when switched out on the perimeter. If you guys haven't noticed yet, we switch ALOT and we need someone that can also defend the pick and roll while also defending the bigs that can shoot the 3. LMA can not do any of these effectively anymore. We don't need another 20 point scorer especially at center.

Re: How would you fill out the roster?
Onboard with getting Faried, I think he can transform our second unit with his energy especially given we will have one of the big 3 on court at all times that Faried can play off. He's also played with Harden before
Faried, Ariza and a legit 7 footer off the buyout market (Dwight Howard would be amazing) would be the best outcome.
Jordan/Dwight/Faried
KD/Green
Joe/Ariza
Harden/Bruce
Kyrie/Shamet/TJ
Would take that team against anybody. Having one of KD/Kyrie/Harden on court at any given time is just unfair.

I agree on all this, except if he's just a buyout signing. As a buyout signing he'd be a great add as long as he doesn't expect to play more than 25mpg and accepts he's not going to be on the floor the last 5 minutes of most games.

Re: How would you fill out the roster?
Another day and another evaluation.
The Move: Sign Reggie Perry to a full contract.
Kyrie / Shamet (age 23, $2.1 mil)
Harden / Brown (age 24, $1.7 mil) ./ (Rondae)
Harris / Green (age 34, $1.7 mil) .../ (Rondae)
KD / Perry (age 20, ???) .............../ (Rondae)
Jordan / Claxton (age 21, $1.6 mil) / (Rondae)
I feel good about this bench. Now we just need to practice and develop chemistry with this 10 man rotation and then shorten it to an 8 man rotation come playoffs.

I feel like we don't have a guy directing the defense and that leads to a lot of defensive lapses.... Need a vocal leader on defense...

Mkg.... we need defense n we need youth with athleticism....
If MKG still has it, he would or should supplant Jeff Green with minutes

Re: How would you fill out the roster?
Idk man, I'm just not a fan of bringing RHJ on. I feel like there's a reason he's out there right now even though he's a great athlete, good defender, good passer. He might be a guy who rubs people the wrong way and his shot is crazy broke.

he had a great year last year with the Raps and the fans loved him. He is in the prime of his career at just 25-26 years old. We have alot of shooters and scorers already, we just need somebody that can defend the wing and provides energy. He fits that. He is also very good on the open floor and fast break.

And that's kind of where I'm going with this. 29 other teams and us and no one has signed this guy? It's a little sus tbh.

Robin Lopez is a name I'd keep an eye on too. It's hard or even impossible to make the salary work on almost anything aside from rookie scale guys without including Dinwiddie or at least DeAndre though.

go get Rondae, Faried, MKG, and Shumpert. we would have all the tools at our disposal

My guess is Marks uses one of the slots soon, but holds the other two for buyout guys, hoping on Ariza, McGee, Robin Lopez, Rudy Gay and a few others.
Probably goes for one of RHJ or MKG and holds on the other spot.
Faried could be a good pickup, but his main things are rebounding and dirty work, yet he's a relatively poor defender. Wouldn't mind it by any means, but that slot could be better used in the near future.

Re: How would you fill out the roster?
Rondae is too out of control on the court. When you have KD, Harden and Kyrie, you need low maintenance, high BBIQ guys. The Dudley, Davis, Carroll type vets we have had in the past.
Personally, I'm looking for all bigs; maybe one wing. Unlike LeVert, Harden is an iron man, so I am comfortable that between he, Kyrie, Brown, Chiozza and Johnson, we have enough, reliable ball handling.
Davis and Chandler are interesting names. As is Robin Lopez. Eye the struggling teams, as they're likely to buy guys out. I still think Dinwiddie's insurance covered expiring contract could be an asset in a trade. If we're not keeping him next year, may as well trade him.
