He’s not passive in big games. He gets double and triple teamed. When he actually had a true star player next to him in Chris Paul (even if he was a little past his prime), the Rockets were able to win 65 games and nearly dethrone the Warriors.

With somebody like Durant next to him, teams won’t be able to throw everything at him like they have been doing for the past 8 years.

Harden will absolutely feast in the playoffs.

Harden is just so giddy that he’s over sharing.

It should take a few minutes in one practice for James to remember that he’s one of the top 3 options in the league, let alone the team, and that he should look for his shot or KD, Kyrie, and Joe 90% of the time.

And it should take the rest of the guys even less time to realize how good he is and how much they should defer to him.

Marks is going to need to really consider hitting the market for another big. We are going to bleed points inside.

I wouldn’t consider that a ‘hot revisionist take’. That was pretty much the general consensus by the time KD left.

Yeah, our defense needs work. To be fair though, Vucevic is a monster. He could do this to a good front line too.

And then you’re going to have Kyrie, Joe, and Green in triple threat stances around the perimeter with their hands at their shooting pockets ready to receive a pass off the KD & Harden PnP action.

LOL Ian Eagle with the homer "nah, Jason Kidd was MVP in 02, he should have won the award" take. Don't usually see that from him lol.

And yeah, I know Kidd had a strong case. But the fact that said it like it was an indisputable fact and that Duncan had no argument over him at all, lol that's pretty funny.

Did they real have a problem other than health? They very nearly beat the 73 win Warriors. I honestly think if Klay doesn't go supernova the Thunder win the title that year.

Catching a few peeks of the game while I'm working and the ball movement had been good.

I’ve always said the narrative that he couldn’t get over the hump and choked in big games even though he had superstar teammates is way overblown and a bit of a lie.

Besides CP3 that one year, his “superstar” teammates have been hasbeens and guys from the Island of misfit toys.

And that year with CP3, they almost certainly get to the Finals had Paul not gone down late game 5 of the WCF’s.

After the way Nash treated him he is probably just in shock to find that he is getting playing time.

Historically he is a decent three point shooter.

Hopefully he shoots better once he gels with his team.

Too slow and stagnant with this 5... gotta move better...

Again, Harden n Allen would've been game over

Harden needs to be more aggressive. I didn't struggle to watch the guy foul-bait his way to the line over and over again for him to not do that once he's on my team lol.

I think we should have went with Brown next to Harden and Durant/Harris at the forwards. Oh well.

I think he's trying to be a playmaker moreso, which is fine. He'll turn it on when need be
