Yes TLC should never be in a position to carry the offense but ideally this a game that Joe/Spencer contract/MLE/DJ(because he has a real contract) should be carrying to compete, not win.

This game is a throwaway. Who cares.

I care. I care about the others not just the stars. Stars mask a lot and when the Heat meet the Spurs it shows.

We got the best top 3 players including Joe a fourth but 5-15 is pretty weak.

These are all quality role players. But role players are role players for a reason.

They can't be expected to do this much.

Also were playing the team with the best record in the NBA on a back to back.

I wouldn't be worried at all.

Yeah I mean at full strength our 5 - 15 guys are:

DJ, Claxton, Green, Brown, Shamet (all 5 are starting calibur players)

then....

TJ, Blake (Legit rotations backups)

TLC. Roberson, Chiozza (not awful compared to other teams 12-15th men)

Damn... the bench actually made this game more interesting than the starters have.

Oh yeah no Joe Harris either lmao.

People actually putting stock into this game as some sort of indictment of anyone are seriously embarrassing themselves. Learn to prioritize. The Nets clearly have.

They were actually playing smart, unselfish ball with good effort. The starters except TJ has been awful.

Every team in the league looks awful if you remove their top 3 guys. no one is loaded with starters 5 through 15. were as deep as anyone

No one said 5-15 should be starting caliber. I know these are role players. I’m saying how Spencer contract is seen as a throwaway as well as the MLE is the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. Teams certainly have 6 starting caliber players. We have 4. An amazing four. The greatest 4 ever. But just 4.

Did something happen to Joe? He started the game, but hasn't come back in.

Harden getting a rest is a huge win for this team.

yeah. I mean, we legit have the Long Island Nets on the floor (Chiozza, Johnson, TLC, Perry, Claxton)

Nice to see these guys playing hard and taking some pride.

Game is over. No need to risk him tbh. He also deserves rest.

Not only are we not playing anyone of the trio. We're also sitting Blake. Lol, who would have expected that?

Glad to see Bojan still in the league on a winning team.

Like seeing more play time for Claxton and Perry. Still a bit raw and needs all the time they can get.

No they probably just don’t want to play him.

on the road... on the second of a back to back. and most of these guys havent played in forever since they are usually out of the rotation.

lol this is how you punt a game

They asked Nash about Alize Johnson and it was clear that he had never seen him play. He's over here getting major minutes in the 1st half.

No reason to kill anyone today. Let Chiozza, TLC, Perry have their fun.

BTW before this - we were the only team in the league to not lose a game by 20 or more. We've been resilient all year.

This game is a showcase for why TLC fell out of the rotation.

just give the keys to the offense to clax. let him play point. i don't understand how every possession isn't running through him. I watched cheez brick 3 threes in a row without a single clax touch.

To be fair, the ones complaining arent nets fans.... they are either bandwagoners we never saw in this forum before this year or new accounts with like 20 posts. I mean, they are welcome but more likely just bandwagon knee jerkers

Chiozza is like I might not get meaningful mins again, so let me keep chucking shots!

Don't really blame him tbh
