Nash will have to manage LMA, Blake, etc players min throughout this season. It will be hard to not play KD and Harden 38+ min. We need another playmaker, losing Din hurts right now.

It probably has something to do with Nash wanting defense on fast pgs. Carter is better at that than Brown. If only we can use a 50/40/90 pg for 30+ mins, carter would see the floor less.

This would be a terrific win going into tomorrow night.

Potential 2-1 start vs 1-2 start.

LOCKED DOWN

Love the grit and effort to finish this one off. Things weren't looking great after the Harris TO and this team just got laser focused after that. Great win.

And we're done here.

Massive props to the team for gritting this one out. The defense tightened up big time.

LaMarcus Aldridge was bringing it tonight. Embiid was basically a non factor during that last 8 mins.

Durant and Harden were godly, but shout out to Carter and Mills as well. They competed hard.

This is what will set the tone. We need to scrap on D. Claxton got benched because frankly, he isn't helping the team right now. Dude is not hustling. He needs to watch how LMA was working out there and follow suit.

I think it could partly be that without Kyrie, Nash wants the slightly better ball handler out there. Not sure that Carter is that much better than Brown though.

I don't know who you talking about.

One's our team get that mentality we'll be OK for regular season for sure. Think about rest along the way.

Claxton is really disappointing so far, maybe last year was a fluke, he’s a 2nd round pick after all.

Btw, we held them to 40 something points in the 2nd half. Let’s give credit where it’s due. We locked them down in the 4th.

Looked dismal in the first half but boy did we turn it around in the second half. Two things, the D looked a lot better and the Nets need to push the ball up the floor, this where they were successful last year. Awesome Awesome way to end the game and we looked like a far different team in the second half. It looks like Harden/KD are gonna have to score more and Mills, Carter, Harris will be called upon to shoot when open; and yes, Carter can hit a three.

I mean Carter can hit shots from deep so I understand.

But the defense tightened up. Carter had a big part in that.

LMA was huge. He plays like a big man. He knows how to play that way. Griffin and Clax don’t play that way. I think it was a good come back but they have to start stronger. Too often they get behind from the beginning. I would start LMA and maybe Millsap or brown. And sit clax and griffin
