Official Trade Deadline Thread: Ends 2.10 @ 3 PM EST
This turned into a dumpster fire. Holy ****. I don’t even think the Billy King/Deron Williams era ever ended this bad. I don’t think the Pierce/KG era ever ended this bad…
Anyone outside of KD, Patty, Duke, Edwards, Sharpe, Thomas can GTFO!
Nash should’ve been fired yesterday.

Our players are better than this, it’s not about players , it’s all Nash and coaching stuff, they lost this team weeks ago , they all can GTFO and Marks too for allowing this Nets team to become laughingstock of NBA

Of course he does. That's why he's not playing these stupid ass games with Kyrie.
I'm not sure how much better his title chances are with Philly vs here. Its not like they become overwhelming favorites or even favorites. especially with this version of Harden. If he wanted to guarantee a title, there are much better destinaiton to force a trade to.
Harden and Embiid + Philly's shooters are a lot better than what we have here.
No they aren't. Not only are they not alot better, they aren't even a little better or close. KD/Kyrie/Harden + Harris/Mills are head and shoulders better then Harden on Philly.

I dont think it impact harden either way. Even Jake Fisher who had that click bait article on Kyrie back tracked and said straight up he and his sources confirm Kyries absence "hasnt had the negative impact on harden one would imagine, harden is encouraged he is back and playing hard"
Harden is just frustrated with all the injuries, all bad luck, and nash running him into the ground and not having any shooters with the current state of the roster.
Kyrie full time doesnt change that. Harden im sure isnt demanding out. I think he is fine playing the year out here and will assess it in the offseason. i dont think he has made up his mind on the future.

Marks is probably the best GM we've had in my lifetime. He's at least on par with Thorn who was a better trader/poker player, but not even close to Marks as a drafter. I'd sign him for life.
Steve Nash's hiring and letting this situation deteriorate to the way it has are definitely black marks on Marks' tenure. This is really bad
Yeah i mean Marks gets a long leash for tunring things around but he has really done alot of damage to his record with the Nash move and if he makes no moves to add a shooter or do something at the deadline will an awful look too.

The Deron era was MUCH worse. We had to bench deron for jarret jack and lost 60+ games while everyone called everyone out. Even joe johnson who never says a thing was cussing people out in post game.

Philly has been crushing it with Embiid and that cast while the Nets have only 1 decisive win all season against playoff competition

The Nets havent had their team all season. When Embiid was out philly went 1-7. Embiid is also a career playoff choke artist loser who disappears at the end of games and has his own availability issues

Nope. you are just in a tailspin. you go overboard pessimism when things get tough here. not a criticism, just an observation. if you actually follow what these guys are saying, its pretty clear.
You just cant get past your hate of Kyrie for not getting vaccinated. but the team doesnt share your hate. in fact, they are on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Philly is 5-5 in their last 10 games with 2 losses to the wizards, a loss to the clippers, and they barely scraped by the Kings by 2. They are just 2.5 games ahead of us despite us losing 9 in row and not having KD.
Lets have some perspective and not just pretending they are blowing out contenders every night and are 10 games up on us. They lost to the suns tonight. their last 3 players where an embiid airball, and embiid three that only hit backboard and an embiid turnover with 20 seconds left passing it out of bounds costing them a chance to tie.
Look, they are a good team. with harden they get better. but they in no way become better then us when we have our big3 all on the floor. And thats IF harden/embiid mesh seamlessly and harden bounces back to MVP form
