I think it should be Kyrie, not the team. He's the most aggrieved part (lost wages). I don't know if the NBAPA would be willing to take up a case like this.

Issue is even if he wins it likely doesnt get resolved in time to matter.

At this point this is just a sick joke.
Doesn't look like Kyrie will be a fulltime player any time soon. BS.
Kyrie should have gotten vaxxed long time ago, but Adams' reasoning to keep this going is absolute trash. :banghead:

I don't support Kyrie's behavior at all.

But the way the mandate is currently set up is completely idiotic.

Adams is basically doubling down. Seems like he has no urgency to remove the employer mandate.

Let's see Adam's stance after the optics of Kyrie being courtside at Barclay's but not being able to actually play. I bet the optics of that will change things...

Kyrie should absolutely be courtside in plain view for everyone to see. Adams is a c*nt

Same. Kyrie is an idiot for not getting a simple vaccination. However, this is not a public health issue anymore. The city is actively targeting him.

The NBA should tell the Nets to do what they feel is right. If I was Joe Tsai i'd have Kyrie suit up and dare Adams to do something.

Yup.

If i'm the nets kyrie is in uniform, warming up, and sitting right next to nash the whole time. giving every interview possible and saying stuff like "its weird... i can be here, i can warm up, i can be with my teammates, but i cant go 2 feet over there and check in"

Politicians are the worst.

whatever you felt about Kyrie to start this thing, he is 100% a victim right now

Remember I warned everyone about Adams. Dude is a complete douchebag and I have no clue what NY Democrats were thinking by voting for this guy.

Kyrie hired his step-mother to be his new agent. She is currently the Vice President of advertising for BET/Viacom.

She will be the first black female agent in the NBA. Not sure what significance it has on anything Mandate or Extension related. But cool to have a black woman in a place of power in the NBA

I don't live in NY and don't keep up with all the mandates and stuff. But I just saw a clip of Adams saying how he's excited to open up the city again and have no limits on the entrainment in the city and how its time to end the mask and vax mandates.

So just so I have this straight, he's saying all this and people visiting all of these things (restaurants, games, and so on) dont have to wear masks or be vaccinated. But Kyrie can practice, attend games, he just can't play in them?

Am I getting that right? Because if so, that makes absolutely no sense at all. And I'm not saying this to rub anything in or anything, I'm legit curious about this situation and want to watch more Kyrie games.

Put plain simple here. NYC is on of the most vaccinated cities out there and relies on tourist heavily. Mandate still in place for Healthcare workers, nursing home employees etc.

They trying to find any loop hole now to keep it that way until Covid mutates to regular flu level and won't overload Healthcare system.

Right now Rumer is that Kyrie will be available to play after road trip. Let's see how this next week go. Numbers looking good here in NYC.

As I said it's a rumer/gossip that mayor office looking into allowing exemption. Tweets like I just posted indicate that. Marks and Kyrie giving hints they feel very optimistic etc.

It's not far fetched to say after next week's mayor updates he might allow exemptions to employers view.

Nothing concrete though. Just speculation for now.

That's right. He and unvaccinated, unmarked fans can attend, unvaccinated opposing players can play, but he cannot.

Unvaccinated people can dine in restaurants, read in a library, drink coffee at a Starbucks, they just can't work there.

Why doesn’t kyrie and his lawyer file an injunction again this stupid ban. The way it’s written is pretty much unconstitutional.

Any reasonable judge would side with kyrie. Either ban all players unvaccinated and fans unvaccinated. Or not. Period.

Kyrie does not have much desire/motivation to play basketball.

It is dumb.

Kyrie is an idiot, but if the city is being opened up on Monday he should be allowed to play. The mayor is a douche

he has more desire to play then anyone on the team.

he just has principals and things that matter to him besides money
