That's fine with me

Trade KD and Kyrie for S&T Ayton, Paul, Bridges, Johnson, Crowder, and Saric w/ 4 1sts/3 pick swaps.

So not sure how credible this site's trade machine is, but i extended Ayton as a S&T at 4x32m and also added Claxton in a S&T the other way at 3x10m and it works.

the picks got a little glitchy but i threw in 4 firsts (that can be whatever).

The problem would be mental toughness so it would be good to get a strong personality vet for Kyrie. If they could get something like Lowry and Tucker from Miami for Kyrie plus Ayton and Bridges for KD, that would be a solid team with a pretty bright future to build on. Ayton still has a ton of upside. Amare may help with his aggressiveness too.

If you look at Ayton's FG% from each mid range area, it is elite, better than any C. He also can switch defensively and is pretty versatile. People often say he's spoon fed by Paul but if you just toss it to him anywhere it midrange, he will hit at a very high range.

His TS% of 65.6% considering he shoots 2/3 of his shots outside of 3 ft is pretty impressive. He had the highest FG% in the NBA of players who had over 10 shots. Actually among the best in history, which is crazy given most of his shots were away from the rim, in the short mid range, mid range, or long mid range.

Here is his shot distribution. You can see he has a ton of assisted shots but that's in part because if anyone just tosses it to him anywhere in mid range, he has an elite hook shot from 3-10 ft and a great mid range shot outside of that. Around 59% from 3-10ft, and 55% from 10-16ft. Then like over 46% from 16 ft-to 3 pt range. He will add the 3 too...and was over 39% from 3, albeit on very low volume.

Splits by distance including a shot chart... https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/aytonde01/shooting/2022

My biggest concern with him is the aggressiveness. I appreciate his skills but if he's not assertive what's the point of all those skills.

However, since you've watched more of him what do you think his ceiling is and what are his biggest weaknesses that can be worked on?

Also Amar'e left the coaching staff because the work balance didn't fit what he was looking for.

The worst and most unreliable source in sports lol

Let’s play with that idea.

Brown
Tatum
Williams
Multiple 1st Picks

Nothing less. I don’t know what the hell people think this is. This is like LeBron or Kobe getting traded here in elite playing shape. This is a 6 1st round picks / swap deal or superstar for superstar.

Anyone who thinks we’re coming out with a strong haul should do coke. Even Billy King could draft better offers than some of these pathetic journalists and wannabe beat writers.

Rebounding and consistent defensive rotations. He’s basically a modern day Brook Lopez right now but his upside is extremely great in the right culture.

This is the dumbest **** ever. There has to be an adult in KD's circle that could point out how utterly impossible that is. No one wants Kyrie and even if they got KD as a part of that package there's no way a contending team would willingly take on this duo of knuckleheads after what they've pulled here.

Kyrie to the Mavs is the most likely outcome.

Dinwiddie + Powell/Kleber + 2024 1RP?

EDIT:
This actually works

Dinwiddie + Powell + 1FRP

OR

Dinwiddie + Kleber + Frankie smokes + 2nd

Probably better than anything the Lakers would offer.

Crazy how Nets fans are blaming Marks and Tsai when they bent over backwards for both of these clowns for 3 years.

This is a blessing in disguise. Durant will be 34 this season. He got his ass whipped by Jason Tatum in the first round. No one can convince me that moving on now than later is a bad idea.

Idk why people are so cool about this. This is a disaster. And clearly poorly handled by the nets front office. The harden trade made this a disaster. Don’t forget that like 6 more years of our picks go to Houston. Can’t even rebuild through the draft. I’m sure picks will have to be in the trades back for Durant and Irving. But this is a disaster.

Doesn't bother me since the Rockets are going to suck so the pick swaps will be irrelevant and we're going to recoup picks in the Irving and Durant trades.

Also, we probably won't be that bad post trades.

Just messing with you , I dont like to kick fan bases while they are down....

No way we can do PHX trade without Kyrie included. KD probably knows it too. That's why he picked PHX.

If I'm Boston, i'd trade Tatum and keep Brown. I think Brown would play off KD better and it might save them an asset or two.

For what?

For not giving Kyrie a max deal? Thats what pissed KD off enough to demand a trade? After all the **** Kyrie put us through?

Is he insane. **** him.

I can't wait till we trade him to Utah or Orlando.

For allowing KD and Kyrie to dictate the moves. (Harden trade for example)

He is the GM and he allowed KD/Kyrie to have too much say which **** us in the end.

As much as I like Marks, he has a ton of blame in this fiasco.

Marks bears a ton of blame.

But not for not offering Kyrie a max.
