I'm def down for Morris, we need a tough guy in this locker room, we have too much softies here. Please don't get Tristian Kardashian PLEASE! we have enough drama as is. I rather Dwight or anyone else.

Let's see what this team is about.

A Myles Turner and an other defensive wing away from being a true contender.

As constructed, this team is probably a 2nd round out.

I agree that a 5 that can shoot and another wing are needed. If we can obtain those two, and KD, Kyrie, and Ben are locked in I don't see who can beat us-

Oh wait. Nash is still the coach

Unless injuries happen nobody is beating Golden State. Healthy Klay, Poole another year of experience to take another step. Those 3 can score 30 any given night all while having the best defense.

And they likeable.

Nets would need everything to come together in harmony. Don't see it. But once again injuries are everything every single year so u can't really predict before the season starts.

How's that Donovan Mitchell deal coming along? Has Ainge asked for Dolan's spleen yet?

I'm not a fan of Dwight or Thompson at this point, but Dwight should at least prove to be serviceable when we have to bang against Embiid.

Stop we can def take on the warriors. Klay getting healthier n older. We would be able to switch everything with Ben being the point of attack defender. Wiggins on Kd i like my chances, n who guards kyrie klay off an acl and achilles like my chances. We almost beat the warriors with just kai

I think there was an agreement was made that if we can’t win a championship or remotely close in half of his contract (two seasons or one) we’d trade him. I think that would be a fair compromise.

The pressure still is on Marks to deliver on these two roster spots because we likely won’t be able to retain Seth next season. We have a boatload of shooting and we could add more but this is literally the best roster we could ever assemble this season. We have to build on that and hopefully Nash can do it early because this dude will be fired so quick if we come out the gate slow or straight up losing.

It's a decent roster but our lack of bigs scares me, the shooting surplus is great but I wouldn't mind moving one of the shooters.if it meant getting better defense.

I don’t understand excitement most of you have about this team

This team missing solid player at C position ? Nope this team lacking much more than that

This team lack a HEART

We lack a leadership - no one on current roster got anything in common with a leadership , not a single men to call out other players when they underperforming
We lack a HC ( don’t tell me that Trash is the one , he isn’t)

All we have is disgruntled snake and Kyrie , Simmons ( who knows what we got with him , maybe another malcontent) and bunch of unproven rookies , post injury guys , more question marks than any other team in the league

In order to fix this was to change whole coaching stuff , maybe players would’ve buy in and push the chips to the middle , with this mess we’re in for another disappointing season

You sleeping on LAC, they well coached and got legit depth to spank GSW.

Bucks and Saltics have right to say they notch better than BK, Philly and Miami. That can change quick even without injuries. I can see 6's coming out the EC if Harden is healthy. We can beat on any team with talent alone. Running simple motion offense with Ben and Kyrie will not be stopped. To much shooting over here. Miami with healthy Dipo will be different animal.

Kerr beat up on a rookie coach who didn't knew better. Yeah you can say Brad was there, it's just he wasn't game managing from the coaching seat. That's big all things considered.

Well good luck Ping Ponging this season. Maybe you'll win 30 games this year.

Nobody is spanking GS when it comes playoff time. They could be beat yes but not spanked.

Lets see if Simmons makes a huge impact or not. He's got a lot to prove to fans and himself.

We won 39 last season w.o Rose and bum ass Julius Randle killing team chemistry. Was basically on the back of RJ. We definitely improved idk how much which is the point. Should of traded every vet and tanked this season which is the strongest draft and most anticipated.

I think Morris would at least give us some toughness.

I wouldn't mind adding him and Dwight for some size.

Thompson, no thanks. Same with Melo.

Leadership does remain the biggest obstacle for this team. Where do we get it?

KD openly says he won't do it.

Kyrie tries and fails.

Simmons of course can't do it.

Maybe we need someone like Mills to do it? Idk.

Cocky with GSW. Want to take a bet?

I got them GSW not winning this year. Usually I take cash app bets.

We need Blake, he was good in limited spurts. Experimenting will hunt us back, we should've brought Dragic back too.

Leadership is a bigger issue than Center.

Maybe I'll be proven wrong but the Nets don't need a traditional big. Stretch 5? Sure but good luck finding one for cheap at this point.

Also it's really hard having your main leader not be one of your 5 best players. Team needs one of KD, KAI, Ben to step up but as you say, none of those 3 have desired leadership qualities. *Sigh*

The worst part of the Harden trade is that he was the leader of the team and when things were good, he was actually really good at it. Too bad he quit as soon as things got hard and KD backed Kyrie over him.

Blake is washed and I don't think he'd be happy with a bench role.

Dragic wants to play real mins and he would not get that on this current roster.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
