Another great W.

Defense is just not good. Its ELITE.

I don't remember the last time the Nets have looked this good defensively. Would have to go back to the Kidd era.

This only goes back to show how horrible Nash was.

Easily the worst coach in Nets history. We are SO MUCH better without him. My God.

Maybe we should have listened to KD from the start. Starting this season with Nash in charge given what we knew and how bad we looked in preseason was negligence in team management.

But is it totally 100% exclusive Nash , isn’t there any reason because Kyrie is out from locker room ? I’m not sure anymore , Glad Nash is gone , not sure about Kyrie

Would love to trade Kyrie for a big man unfortunately Kyrie has no value.

Best we can hope for is a team looking to dump a bad contract and use Kyrie as an expiring. So who's got a guy making 30+m on a multi year deal that they want to dump?

Unfortunately the only one I can think of plays for us already.

sadly everyone called it too.

I have no clue what the FO thought keep him after the 10 game lose streak and the sweep in the playoffs.

Amazing especially given everything that can go wrong has gone wrong for us for a number of years, and we're paying $70m for 2 guys that are giving us nothing.

That's all cus of how good Durant is, he gives you a huge margin for error and ****. Nash and Marks should have been fired the minute a KD team got swept in the first round. That is actually impressively hard to achieve.

Kyrie has been awful in the locker room.

But I can't see how you could possibly blame him for how horrible our defense was under Nash.

We were horrible defensively last season without Kyrie.

One player alone cannot sink your defense. Time and time again we were unprepared. Had no clue what to do. Failed to make adjustments.

Vaughn has fixed all of those issues overnight. Youre telling me Kyrie alone caused all of them?

And offensively he was brilliant.

I would give Kyrie a chance to play with this team. And if not then trade him to the Lakers for whatever they would give up.

Yup.

That hire and retention totally wasted 3 years of these players careers and our fandoms.

Agree with all of it.

Us not being able to grab a defensive Rebound for our lives despite starting a 6'10 point guard is not Kyries fault alone.

We all know there's no trade market for Kyrie so might as well make it work. Id bring him back and give him Cam Thomas' current role, if he wants to prove he's bought in on being a team player he'd take it and run with it.

Anyone think a shai deal might be possible a 3rd team with the Lakers. Been hearing his unhappy with losing in OKC. I like kai but if we could flip those lakers picks to okc for shai we would have to do it. if its even possible.

We were offensive juggernauts during that one big 3 season but this is definitely the best two way basketball we've played in the KD era. Smart defense and offense. Unselfish play. Full effort. Never giving up on plays. Great stuff.

Like GTR said, we're getting nothing out of 70 million in cap. It's crazy.
