People this is what PO going to look like if we start right now.

KD is a mental midget who killing our offense after teams figured what to do. He will shrink again. Only Curry led GSW could cover his short comings.

We need to pray that JV/Kokoskov can take TJ to another level and not rely on that mental midget.

Kyrie is a lose cannon. Can hurt can save.

Our stars don't care for frenetic physicality, especially in early January. Either that or they need to hit Bourbon Street after the game rather than the night before.

I'm sorry, I don't see any difference in our offense under Vaughn as it was under Nash. Stupid ISO offense over and over again, no matter how ice cold our stars are.

Only reason we're winning is because of Claxton being a beast.

In all that, we never gave a chance to TJ and Ben to shine. Guess why.

That's where coaching comes to play.

We need a coach.

Snyder and Borega currently sitting home.

I don't want to be that guy but it has to be said.

Both Kenny and Nash were white guys. Than bringing Ime might be an option. Or any other AA coach who worth a damn.

Good grind out win versus a very physical defensive team.

Wasn’t the prettiest of games but it’s a win.

New Orleans is a very good team. If they are fully healthy they would be equipped to push their way to the WCF in my opinion. They are so well coached and fun to watch.

This game was the worst we look offensively in awhile looked like nash led team 100% iso's. Probably cuz KD was missing so much he forced the issue with ,more iso's

It's January. We need games like this. The tape of this game will show where we need to improve but KD and Kyrie need to figure it out. We can't go 100% iso versus a good defensive team. Move the ball and get defenders off balance

The difference is that Kyrie got suspended right after Vaughn took over. That led to more ball movement. When he first came back, Kyrie was trying to play within the system, but as time has elapsed, Kyrie & KD are falling into old, bad iso habits.

Yep. I think folks are underestimating the opponent tonight

Imagine posting this after KD balled out for the Nets in the 2021 Playoffs, with virtually no help from his teammates, with Kyrie and Harden going down with injuries, and then watching the 2022 Nets go on an 11-game losing streak without him, forcing him to rush back from his knee injury to save the season of a team that had a lame duck head coach, a player that demanded to be traded (Harden), a player that refused to play (Simmons) and a player that was banned from playing (Kyrie).

I get it. He had a crap shooting game by his standards, and the Celtics series was ugly, but he has enough equity at this point that this level of hatred is absurd for the player who has been the most consistent of any player on the roster, since he returned to the court.

Also, this is a blatantly false narrative. KD has an easily accessible history of being a huge playoff performer, and he has the highest average game score in NBA Finals history, which includes the pre-GS Finals.

Chill.

The worst part of this is JV is giving them the green light.

The opponent down their 2 best players? Look at any of the top teams around the league, and then take away their 2 best players. How good are they now? Shouldn't a healthy contender beat another contender without its 2 best players like 99% of the time? Like, how many other contenders would we beat without Kyrie and KD playing?

Now, I get it, it's the RS, it's the NBA, **** happens. But we did play pretty poorly and it was disappointing to see.

Nets with a tough win. We only saw it twice but it was perfect. Ben Simmons screening/short roll will make the Nets champions(reference https://youtu.be/bVk4_XaAoD4 imagine what it will do for catch and shoot/lobs for everyone).
Joe/Curry/Mills make too much money to be end of rotation guys.
“Winning time” small ball from opponents will always be our advantage and actually our strongest defensive advantage. We have a switchable frontcourt with KD/Ben/Nic.
