I feel you. We have a little bit of everything to offer. There will be rumblings in a dark alleyway. It won't be a quiet offseason.

everything but attractice assets. we dont have a lottery pick and we dont have a great young player. we do have cap space, whcih helps..

Well, we have a few solid young prospects in RHJ, LeVert and Dinwiddie. They aren't blue chippers, or world beaters, but they aren't garbage. It really depends on what other teams are even willing to absorb bad salary and then of those who will, what they'll attach to that salary relief in combination.

If Mozgod is looking for a buyout, 75% of his contract is the high end of standard. Even after his cap hold it opens up another $10.2 million in cap if his buyout is then stretched.

We can pretty easily sit at about $25 million in cap. Is Memphis really serious about the 4? Will Marks eat the 2 years of Parsons, or the 2 years of Deng to gain these kinds of assets, or do they mess with his master plan? Will Prok and Tsai write those checks?

Cause we might be the only team that would even come up with a package like LeVert/Dinwiddie/29/pure cap for Parsons and the 4.

Imagine Doncic is there? I might wet myself and I'm not even in love with him as a prospect as some others are.

If Doncic is gone he might even be able to send the 4 to LAL for Ingram, something like that.

Maybe they love Bamba too?

Or J3 is still there?

But I'm thinking Marks is going to work some major magic here. Probably not 4th pick overall magic, but something where we get a late lotto pick without giving up the farm(and our farm isn't a lot to give up to begin with).

I'm pretty excited. Although I'm going to miss the draft live... Bah. I don't even know if I'm going to turn notifications on or not, or just click on Woj and Sham's Twitters at the end of the night and start scrolling like it's live lol.

If Phoenix trades #1 for Kawhi and maxes out Capella, they might not be a contender, but they'd definitely be my favorite league pass team next season

Booker, Kawhi, & Capella? That'd be sick

Pop to Lebron: ok I’ve got it. Talk to kyrie and tell him to tell Cleveland that he wants out and doesn’t want to play for with you anymore. Tell him to request a trade to the spurs or Boston or anywhere else for that matter. But don’t worry we’ll get him next year too. Then when next summer comes around we’ll trade kawhi for Irving plus good pieces. Then you’ll be the man on our team with your all star point guard plus Aldridge and a whole bunch of quality role players. And did I mention you’ll have the best coach of your generation coaching y’all and we’ll destroy the warriors. But when it comes time to leave Cleveland you can say you told management that you didn’t want kyrie to leave and then kyrie can tell whoever he’s traded to that he doesn’t know if he’ll resign with them.

Lebron to pop: you’re **** crazy. I’m going to LA

And don't forget when they trade the 16 and Marqueese Chriss for D-Lo.

We'll hear something related to the nets tomorrow.
Spoiler:
Sources: Marks and Pops seen together laughing it up, discussing rebuild stories.

Doncic, Bamba and others now refusing to give medical records to and work out for several teams. The age of player empowerment — at least for star players — seems to officially be here now, in way I do not remember seeing for a long time

If I'm not mistaken this is a pretty routine practice...

It's happened before, but not with so many top players all at once.

And with the possibility as with Bamba of falling out of top five with his decision to refuse workouts with both Kings and Grizzlies.

Totally irrelevant to the Nets, but would you guys see as a possibility that Memphis will trade the #4+ Parsons to Timberwolves for Wiggins? It just would make too much sense to me...
Considering Timberwolves just gave him that huge extension but he doesnt seem to fit their plans and doesnt fit with Butler. But for Memphis they might see him as a suitable piece between Conley and Gasol and also gives them a young potential star locked into long term deal (cant bolt in a year). And they wont be a FA destination anyways ...

I believe it's going to be a slow off season for most teams, other than Lebron joining another star and Kawhi being traded, I don't really see too much going on. Maybe Kemba and Schroder gets traded too

It’s either that or the calm before the storm.

Several teams are up against luxury tax and need to shed salary including POR, CLE, TOR, OKC. Also WAS, MIN, MIA -although less dire

Philly has cap to spend and will be looking to improve. Mavs need a big man and they have some cap as well. What will Lakers do? What will the Cavs do?

DeMarcus Cousins future is not yet clear.

Where will Howard end up?

Hawks, Kings and especially Bulls have cap space and are sitting pretty; will they use it, if so, how will they spend it.

Will there ever come a time when Jarrett Allen is not the only legitimate big on the Nets roster?
How many shooting guards/ wings who are 6 6 can I Team (the Nets) have on roster? :-)

OTOH I would not be surprised if Spurs didn’t trade Kawhi this off season and kemba stayed put,

Every team is trying to shred salary but there's but so much teams with the cap space, and some have their own FAs to acquire so it's going to be tough. Too many teams over spent in 2016 off season and are now feeling it.

I think Philly is looking for the big dogs, Kawhi or Lebron or PG13 . Lakers are trying to get the big 3. Howard probably go to Warriors ugh  . Hawks are rebuilding and will trade Schroder.

You right, it can go either way, I'm hoping for a busy off season especially for us, off season is one of my favorite parts of the year.

isnt the point of memphis making a trade with Parson to rid themselves of an awful contract? why give someone an elite assett like the #4 pick jsut to take on another horrible contract?

I think this move indicates that Doc isn't running the show anymore. There have been rumors that Cousins goes to Washington via sign and trade with Porter coming back to New Orleans, seems like that could be a lot more likely after this deal.

Porter at SF in NO would be a pretty good addition. I don't think NO needs Cousins anyway, AD is so damn good and Holiday was a beast.

Austin Rivers should thank god Doc Rivers is his father.
