Pure speculation. But I believe if KD wanted a trade that bad he would be pushing for it more behind the scenes.

Like talking to other players, saying things publicly, and threatening to hold out of camp. It appears those things are not happening yet.

And if they were why not do it before the Ayton deal was signed?

It seems to me that hes content with the situation as is. Even if he would still prefer a trade.

Marks needs to get another C, and i think another PG for camp to push competition for that 3rd PG spot. I hate the idea of having Patty as Ben's back up because he's more of a 2 but it is what it is.

With the news that just came out from Scoop that Kyrie wanted Ty Lue and KD wanted Handy(I believe), I think Marks has to bear responsibility for selecting Nash. If Nash cannot get the job done between October-November to start with a good solid system, then you have to get rid of him.

Losing out on Hartenstein to the Knicks really hurt, but the paid him 8 mil a season we can only pay 6.

Filling out the roster now is kind of annoying because we don't know what we might get back in a potential trade. Only weak spot on the roster I see for now is a solid center. I don't think we need any guards unless the team has no faith in Cam Thomas. If they don't, they need to move him honestly.

Funny enough Blake is probably still a good fit at C. I'm sure he hates Nash and Marks though. Clax/Blake/Sharpe isn't a great rotation but could be good enough if Clax makes a leap. It was nice having a big center like Drummond that wouldn't get bullied inside but IDK if we can find someone like that. A more skilled center might fit the roster better even though Blake was awful from 3 last year.

Melo is kind of an annoying choice because allegedly KD + Kyrie demanded we sign him but he is a good fit as long as he has no minute expectations. He's a 4 that can hang with stronger guys and he could really shoot from 3. He's finally adjusted his offense so he's playing efficient ball as a role player. His defense is still pretty bad though.

Much more better than Schroder and Bledsoe: Facundo Campazzo.

He's not a great defender but he's a real true playmaker a-là-Dragic and a magician. He's UFA right now and recently says that he would like to stay in NBA.

Facu is a pretty good defender, given his size. It was one of his strengths in Europe. He averaged 2 steals per game in his last year at Real.

Facundo would be a great addition. The only problem is how much he's going to be signing for, although from the looks of it there doesn't seem to be a huge market for him right now. But I'd certainly take him running an offense over KD or Kyrie any day.

It's reversed, but I don't know if it has ever been confirmed. Lue was supposedly KD's guy and Handy was supposedly Kyrie's guy.
