It's not like I throw around these terms in public IRL to common people because I know better but when I am speaking to my best friend or am angry as I was in my last post, I admit to falling back to using derogatory terms. I am old school in this manner and am not perfect by any means. But you are correct, we should be using the nicer and more updated terms in general and I try to with my son but some things you fall back upon habit. For instance if my friend makes a dumb joke, I'd respond with "That's f**king gay", not intended as malice.

Using "gay" as a derogatory label is not "oldschool" or retro.... its ignorant. My dad is 70, my grandfather is 92. both of them can talk to their friends and family and define something as lame without calling it "gay".

I have multiple degrees from world renown institutions, am a Director with the federal government, which if you don't know is management level right below the executive level, make a very good income, have multiple investment properties, run my own business and most importantly have plenty of real life friends; not Internet chat forum friends. I am surprised that I even spend as much time on this forum as I do. It used to be fun for me but not so much anymore with all the close-mindedness, hatred, bigotry being displayed by the same people that I used to respect.

Yet you are the one who comes here to tell us American how to live our live when you are in fact no even American and have very little idea how life is like in this country. It isn't so fun when other people do that to you does it? I know why you come to this thread, to say the very thing that you have no balls to say to your black bros in person, or your gay friends in person.

I'm just citing my views, backed up with videos by people much smarter and more articulate than I am. The reason why I have to boast some of my accomplishments and lifestyle is because I'm constantly being attacked being called a racist, garbage human being etc. I don't have to put up with that.

It was a figure of speech, I have never physically reprimanded my kid. My kid would never even consider switching sides because I am very much involved in his life and he wouldn't be so mentally unstable to even consider it.

i guess... i dont really use "slap him silly" as a figutre of speech but then again i tend not to throw around racist and homophobic slurs because they are old fashioned either.
