Kiki done

Kiki was just fired (or announced that he won't be retained, rather), as per ESPN. Link to follow.

I wonder who will replace him? IIRC, technically Kiki was the GM and Rod is the President.

Chad Forde mentioned yesterday someone in the organization who is Thorn's right hand man with Capology stuff is in line to finally get a chance to run the show for an organization. If Prokorhov like's him too, I could see them giving him a shot. I can't remember his name. It was like Bob Murphy or something. It was a post on the main page of RealGM but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Then again, Prokorhov also said in an interview yesterday he has 4 russian people he's planning on speaking with about potential front office jobs. He did not specify who and what jobs, but it's interesting.

It wouldn't surprise me if the entire front office is run by Europeans (mostly Russians) within two or three years.

I've said it a few times, that I actually believe we're gonna trade for AK this summer. Consolidate some roster spots, have a decent, hard working SF (who can play PF at times) for the year and go hard after Melo next summer. I'm sure we could resign Ak for a 2nd unit position on the cheap.

Of all my wacky scenarions, this is the only one I keep coming back to for our SF spot at least for next year.

Well you know guys as much as we all hated Kiki he didnt do such a bad job.....

Yes he was a horrendous coach (although he did do a semi good job with helping TWill mature as a player) but he was never brought here to coach a team, he was brought here to break up a playoff pretender and put us in a good situation for the future with young players' picks and cap space and he's done a pretty damn good job at that.
Im glad that he isnt here to build this team back up though because my god did he do a bad job with the Nuggets..... Sorry but Kmart isnt a max player with 7 years on his contract.

Wasn't Kiki responsible for the Brook, Anderson and Twill picks? I'd say he did well in evaluating talent. I think he gets slack for the record and Yi but he can't be all that bad.

In his defense, Kmart would have likely continued his improvement and remained a top level power forward if he wasn't cursed with severe knee injuries. Andre Miller was a pretty good signing as well...

T-Will and Lopez were obvious picks though we were in Need of a Center and a SG/sf at the time also he was responsible for destorying CDR

CDR is responsible for destroying CDR. T Will was far from an obvious pick.

I now you're joking, but if you consider the circumstance i think that may be the best option this team has right now. I can elaborate if you wish.
