Just letting anyone who is interest know, since his name came up not too long ago, Marko officially signed to U of South Florida to play his college ball. I'm hoping they come play a team in NC so I can go and wear my Drazen jersey.

He signed with USF?? I go to Seton Hall and I follow the Big East very closely. I can't wait to see how his game translates into college.

Nope not yet. It usually comes out August or early September. I hope we play USF at prudential though lol Also I will be spending a looot of time at the Prudential Center this year since I go to every Seton Hall home game and I'm going to about 20-25 Nets games! It's only a 20 minute train ride away from campus!

Nephew to Drazen...

Petrovic's father, Aleksandar "Aco" Petrovic, was a prominent player and competed alongside his younger brother Drazen on Yugoslavia's bronze-medal-winning team in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. The elder Petrovic coached the Croatian National Team to a third place finish in the 1995 EuroBasket and a seventh place showing in 2001. An accomplished European Professional Coach, Petrovic currently coaches KK Cedevita in the Croatian profession League.

Petrovic is the nephew of the late Naismith Hall of Fame guard Drazen Petrovic, who spent four seasons in the NBA with Portland and New Jersey after a prolific international career.

On another note, Former Net Rex Walters is the head coach at U of SanFran....

WOW I completely dropped the ball on this one. I saw the logo on ESPN's recruiting page. The colors even are close to South Florida's. SoB I was gonna go see him and wear my Drazen Jersey!

His high school team was a top 5 team in the country. His ratings are decent, but I wouldn't call him a big prospect. He'll probably get some good playing time in San Fran. I wished he sat bench for a Big East, ACC or SEC team though instead. I would have went to one his games, got really good seats and wore my Drazen jersey. Yes...I am a tool like that. Drazen MADE me a Nets fan and I would totally do something like that to show his Nephew his uncle isn't forgotten.

Yeah I noticed that too.
Brightened up my day a little to see a former Nets scrub doing his thing!
I almost signed up to RealGM as rexwalters4pres, but ultimately decided on vincecarter4pres, true story.
