Sign Lebron (or Joe Johnson), SIgn Boozer or Lee for less then max) then use vets min to lure guys like earl watson, Ray Allen, Quentin Richardson, and Big Z who want to win.

A) Where is the trade?
B) Ray Allen is going to get a lot more money than the vet's minimum.
C) Not a bad team, though Lebron is a long shot. A real long shot.

my bad i got sidetracked mid post... and changed directions. I thoght after Lebron and Boozer were signed... Allen would see it as an opportunity to be part of some more runs. Take a Grant Hill type of deal.

Maybe he would if this was in two years, but he's a straight up shooter, his game is going to stay relatively the same over the course of another contract. He could, and probably should, get more than the Vets minimum, even if its just an MLE-type deal. Now, if this was in two years, and he was what, like, turning 37, I could see him potential taking a vet's minimum if he had friends on the team. Though, I don't know if he's going to be one to go ring chasing since he's already got one and he's already a Hall of Famer-ish player.

I wish, though. Prime Ray Allen is the perfect running mate for Lebron, in my mind.
